Just had on the news that former president,Jonathan spent a whopping 20billion naira on independence day anniversary last year and this year our president ,PMB reluctantly approved just 70million for the same Independence day anniversary

Now my question is , of what benefit was Jonathan's anniversary project to the life of an average Nigeria?
Were did the money go to?
Can we also probe such waste ?

So how much was spent during Shagari, Buhari '84', IBB, Shonekan, Abacha, Abdulsalam, OBJ, Yaradua? Na only GEJ spend money and besides where's the documentary proof.

It seems anytime money is spent the APC Govt publishes this in the media to make it look as if the money being spent is small compared to other Govt's!! Why shld the Govt even spend as much as N70m, how much is a cake or d decorations? I beg make I hear word jare.

Shut your lying mouth! The jonathan government never spent the fictitious sums of money the APC propaganda commitee is spouting out, the only time the federal govt. Spent a lot was during the 50th golden jubilee anniversary which we all agree was a momentous occasion and was graced by world leaders so it was money well spent. Afterwards, to save money...the jonathan govt. came up with the ceremonial change of guard at the aso villa rather than a full parade at the Eagle square to save money, which is also what the buhari govt. Just did. I don't see how continually lying about your predecessor helps your already failing administration.
