Hahaha... Well nothing like London university but University College London and UI was University College Ibadan and UCI started awarding degrees since its inception...must you twist facts in order to satisfy your ego?

OP, you are wrong. this is why:

1. UI started awarding degrees in 1965 after it cut its umbilical cord from London University. achebe, soyinka and co who graduated before had no degree from UI, because then, it was a college affiliated to London. it was called the UNIVERSITY (of London) COLLEGE IBADAN.

2. ABU has more of quantity than quality when compared to UI, UNN, and arguably UNIBEN. a lot of its alumni are not internationally reputable. No offense though, ABU is strong, solid, and boasts of some of the best alumni Nigeria can offer.

3. UNN started awarding degrees in 1964. it was the first school to award degrees with Nigerian alumni, hence its name University of NIGERIA, Nsukka. just like UI, it boast of alumni of international repute.

in view of these, the order should be:

#3 - ABU
#2 - UI
#1 - UNN

which ego? who be this? what do you know about history of Nigeria in education? UCIbadan was tied to London university. the certificate awarded was NEVER an indigenous degree, UNN was the first to award degrees answerable to Nigeria. so stop trying to sound smart.

BTW, it seems your understanding of school terms is deficient, university of London was first called university college, before it was later authorized to award its own degrees. don't just peep the into a search engine or web page and then zoom off. you are a terrible researcher.

I agree with your list.

However, you counted Sarah Alade (CBN Deputy Governor) under UNILORIN. Although she attended both OAU (first degree) and UNILORIN (PhD), where one has first degree should be where he/she is counted, if you don't want the name to reflect in both.

you forgot to add he VCS of atbu, fut yola, adsu,. and the present governors of borno,abia, Niger and many senators. legal icons like jk Gadzama and Michael andonkaa and seni hazzan. bala Mohammed.. its a pity insurgency has really affected Unimaid.

its not all universities that award M.Eng to dia engineering post graduate students but M.Sc, schools like University of Ibadan, Unilorin and others, just the way some universities of technology award B.Tech to dia engineering graduates instead of B.Eng.
