How ironic, the major reason why Nigerians are poor is because we depend on a god to solve all our problems, if you want this country to work get off your knees and put your hands to work!!! stop praying to a white god that isn't there...

Couldn't have said it better myself! What is the P Square fellow, with his success, doing to improve Nigeria's livability? How is he helping?

How many of those small one man businesses can run their miniature version of electric billboards for 24hrs in Nigeria. Here is the difference between Nigeria and New York, small neighborhood grocery stores, local pizza stores, mechanic workshops, liquor stores, laundromats, hair saloons, restaurants cobblers and a whole lot of small businesses that do not open doors 24hrs for businesses can afford to have 24/7 beaming billboards in New York. Do you know why? The answer is steady affordable power supply which individuals have no direct responsibility in providing. If I have never been to Flat 1001 at VI in Lagos and Eric Moore Tower in Surulere and seen things for myself then you might be able to convince me that all major high-rise building have functional elevators. Which sane clime do you see people using the stairs to go up the 10th floor of any building?

Sad but true, Nigeria can never be there with less than 3000MW of electricity. Are you not aware of the increase in number of cancer cases in Nigeria? What do you think is driving those figures? Pollution from generatring set is a major one. The rate of infrastructural decay in Nigeria is alarming and should be declared national emergency.

Agreed about the infrastructural decay. However, in the era of solar power and biogas, individual and private companies can now generate (and sell) electricity.

We can get there. But the only things holding us back are excessive greed/selfishness and those old men up there who have sworn never to see Nigeria go forward.
while they pile up money in foreign countries for their yet unborn descendants.
I just hope God will come to our rescue soon before they succeed in completely wreaking this country to a point of no repair for us.

God is not coming down anywhere to rescue us and our nation; that's a certainty. We are placed here so that we could build our nation and make it a better place. Unfortunately most popular us are only directing our gifts and faculties into destroying our nation or doing things that are totally averse to development and progress.

God has imbued man with all the intellects, abilities and energies by which he could transform his nation or himself into a developed and progressive entity.

It's foolishness and insult for man to keep looking unto God what he has the power to do.

Then how do we get rid of greedy politicians or at least get them to change if God doesn't intervene.
Coz all we know how to do here is bark like toothless dogs, end up doing nothing, then when its time for election we still end up voting in the same people.
