A few weeks ago, I almost got engaged in fisticuffs with one of those guys. Well, this one was exceptionally tall (same height as me ) and he had all the body parts that could be pierced pierced. I was coming from the National Stadium that Saturday after having broken an arm in a sparring match and this guy approached me with his song. 'Pink lips, tattoo, pink lips......' I kept feigning ignorance until the idiot held my broken arm. A jolt of pain coursed through me, and I instantly turned my burning face to the huge idiot.

Holding my hurting arm, I hurled at him: "You dey craze? I look like person wey need pink lips? "

The boy's face changed and he hurled back some words at me and shifted his feet into a fight stance. He looked like he had some experience with boxing. O boy! Na hen this small fear catch me. I had a broken arm, a hurting foot, so I knew that getting into a fight stance with the idiot would be a big blunder, but I wasn't leaving the scene yet. I just changed my style fast fast. I went again, this time shouting.

"You wan fight? Guy, you go regret am! Punch me, come on do it! Na one 'rib hammerjab' (nothing like hammerjab) you go take. Na ambulance dem go use carry you commot for here. Try am!"

By then, there was already some attention and his friends pulled him away while he shouted. I was already thinking of leaving the scene when one of his friends shouted: "Leave am. Na fighter he be. See him trouser!" It was only then I remembered that I was still on my dobok trousers with 'Taekwondo' printed along the side. I looked at the idiot and he was trying to read the inscription off me.

They hold a small container/bottle containing a pink colour gel telling you is for pink lips nd all.. I have been seeing them their ever since the tatoo and pink lips activity came to nigeria lagos.

So today my friend decided to patronise them as he wanted to feel among the pink lips league, he approached one of them, and asked him how much is the pink lips cream, the guy said "1500" and he priced "1000 naira" the guy quicly agreed and gave him the small pet container and collected 1k.I was just asking him, how sure is he this gon work,the guy selling the stuff showed us his own lips which was fairly pink, but in my mind I never believed all these guys. On our way home, I asked him to bring the container, I would love reading it and all! Because I have the idea that honey,sugar etc are part of the ingredients for the pink lips cream, only for me not to see any label on the container,I opened it to inhale/smell it.. It was smelling like a cream I was familiar with.. I told him this is fake and not real,he doubted.. I was really cracking my head to remember the name of the cream that smells same way! Later on I found out it was the popular cream " CARO WHITE" yes! It is caro white whitening cream been sold for 200hundred naira or so. To elaborate and clear his doubt we went to a shop got caro White cream, percieved the odour and it was all same both colour, and smell!

My guy was devasted! This is real my people! These ikeja boys can sell anything just to make money and earn daily living!

I thankGod today was an Eye opener! So many people have been falling victim of this! BEWARE!

I was told that it depends on what darkened the lips. I grew up in the north, Sun burn caused mine. But if its naturally dark then it might go back to the original colour if you stop.

My also was caused by sun i guess. Cos i never smoke nor drink.. Can't u take it along when you are travelling.
