Your Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, and the State House of Assembly members have, once again, turned you mugu. There is a training jamboree coming up in the United States of America. Hear Sahara Reporters:
"Despite his public outcry of bankruptcy in the State treasury and dwindling funds from oil revenue, Delta State Governor, Mr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has given the exorbitant sum of N750 million to members of the State House of Assembly for a leadership training jamboree in the United States Of America (USA)."


Shey una hear? The entire State House of Assembly is going to spend nearly a billion naira on a leadership training programme in America. Allah be praised.
If you are from Delta state and your tear ducts are hungry for mourning, you could spend your time productively mourning this latest heist by your Governor and your House of Assembly folks. You could then organize protests to force a rethink. It works. Trust me, it works.

A few years ago, Harvard University was going to cash in on the stupidity and heartlessness of Nigerian state Governors by organizing a quack training program for them via the Nigerian Governors Forum. Harvard was going to make a quick buck or two on the back of the Nigerian people because we are such great lovers of our oppressors!

Sahara Reporters, Nigerians in America, Nigerians in Canada, Nigerians in Europe - we all rose up against it. We caused such an internet uproar that Harvard University, fearing for her reputation, quickly backed off and cancelled the so-called training program for Nigerian Governors.

If you are from Delta state and you are not currently spending your life shedding tears for looters, start by finding out where these idiots are going in the United States. Which organization in the US is preparing to facilitate this horrendous looting of Nigerian money by the leaders of Delta state and let us start a massive online campaign. Once an American establishment senses bad and costly publicity, they will back off.
