rhymaster:You can tell a foolish man from his writing. If you and Nigeria are so prepared for another round of war, then let's try it. If you think th war will be fough only in igboland, then you are mistaken because the war will be brought to you village. This is not 1966, this is 2015. Nobody wants war but if you so want it yo will get it. With all your hammering, you have not been able to defeat ordinary boko haram. |

Amiano:^^^Speak for your snivelling pathetic self! I'm from that (political) south south you speak of (blame Gowon and his southern cohorts for that) and i'm a full-blooded Igbo man and in support of Biafra! If you're really from the 'south south', i'm ready to bet my last naira you're a apc sympathizer, have some kind of affiliation to the known Igbo haters, you like Buhari and dislike GEJ, and finally, you'd prefer the status-quo in Nigeria subsists rather than have the polity restructured! |

laudate:they are are not Igbos but i will tell you that they are highly influenced by igbos. Listen to the elements of their traditional/cultural music, you'll hear some igbo influence in them. Come to food, you'll still see the influence. Maybe it's cos of inter-marriage |

| Re: Reminder: Sunday Oliseh Is NOT Igbo by Nobody: 11:45am On Oct 11, 2015 |
disumusa:There is nothing like trying to gum body with Edo rubbish. All am telling you is that, there are Igbo's in lower part of Edo simple. |

ekenedegreat:Don't be funny! I knew you were going to take the lazy man's route to get answers to this question, and that was why I asked you to go and conduct your own checks. I will ask you again to go and do your research. ![]() The Esan and Afemai people are not related to the Igbankes or any other Igboid group. So take your shallow mind out of the waters of ignorance, and conduct a study on the Esan and Afemai people before you come back here to mis-yarn. ![]() Vicotex:Haba! In what strange way are they heavily influenced by Igbo people?? Which of the Afemai people told you that? Or which of the Esan mentioned this fallacy to you? What aspect of their cultural music sounds 'Igbo', abeg?? ![]() Their names, language and culture are thoroughly Edo! |

Oliseh is from Abavo Delta state, his monarch:Obi of Abavo is Igbo while he is not Igbo this simply means that he is basttttard or was fathered by an alien. Shameless man with ego issues,a big failure awaiting to happen. |
| Re: Reminder: Sunday Oliseh Is NOT Igbo by Marotzke(m): 1:11pm On Oct 11, 2015 |
laudate:who asked you all the questions that you are answering? Simple one that you left, is Igbanke in Orhionwon local government area, part of EDO state? Are Igbanke people Igbo or Igboid or whatever? I know of one pastor (Pharm) Leonard Onyibe. From Igbanke Edo state. Unapologetically Igbo. Unquestionably EDO. Ask General Samuel Osaigbovo Ogbemudia where his mother was from? And her maiden name? Then you will understand that there are Igbos in Edo state. Leave Ishan and Afemai people alone. No one mentioned them. |

laudate:Afemai music has that soothing highlife music sound, while Esan music can vary... In my opinion, most Esan music doesn't sound like Igbo music at all... Music from Irrua has heavy blues elements with some funk in it. |
| Re: Reminder: Sunday Oliseh Is NOT Igbo by laudate: 1:14pm On Oct 11, 2015*. Modified: 2:18pm On Oct 11, 2015 |
Marotzke:You are the one that is now flaunting Igbanke in your post. My last post had nothing to do with the Igbanke people. It focused squarely on the Esan and Afenmai people. So why are you digressing to chanting "Igbanke" like a mantra?? Was that the subject under discussion?? The subject was that Esan and Afenmai women wear two wrappers, and they are not in any way related to the Igbo!! Stick to the subject!! Chai! |

| Re: Reminder: Sunday Oliseh Is NOT Igbo by Nobody: 1:21pm On Oct 11, 2015 |

aim5:Bros, I no know say you sef see am! I have lived and worked in different parts of Edo State. My relative married an Edo man and I used to stop by to see them, on my way to the South-East during my field tours. And the man used to entertain me a lot as a good in-law, with their traditional music, food etc. I did not detect any Igbo influence in their music, oh! ![]() |
