One daftie wrote that he could not see any technocrat on Buhari's ministerial list and I responded that he must have been either ignorant, daft, plain stupid, or one of the bandwagon members of the 'Jonathan Sympathizers Association of Nigeria (JSAN) who have lost their meal tickets since May 29 2015!!!

See technocrats o...

1. Prof. Isaac Adewole, professor of obstetrics and gynaecology, and immediate past VC of University of Ibadan

3. Amina Mohammed Special Adviser of current UN Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon on UN SDGs and former Special Adviser on MDGs to OBJ,YarAdua, and Jonathan

4. Abubakar Malami (SAN), very senior lawyer

5. Okechukwu Enelamah, first-class degree, ex- Arthur Andersen, CEO of well-regarded African Capital Alliance (ACA)

6. Festus Odimegwu, first class degree holder, former MD/CEO and transformer of Nigerian Breweries Ltd, a man who voluntary resigned from his job as MD of National Population Commission under Jonathan for integrity and principle reasons!

7. Udoma Udo Udoma, successful lawyer, serial Board member, Chairman of Union Bank and several boards of other companies

8. Solomon Dalong, successful senior lawyer

9. James Ocholi (SAN), successful senior lawyer

10. Rotimi Akeredolu, (SAN), former National President of Nigerian Bar Association, NBA., highly respected senior lawyer

11. Professor Claudius Daramola, Professor of Sociology of Education

12. Kemi Adeosun, ex top shot at global accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, brilliant technocrat and no-nonsense woman who is well regarded for her work as immediate past Commissioner of Finance in Ogun state

13. Osagie Ehanire, US-trained medical Doctor and successful hospital administrator

14. Adebayo Shittu, successful senior lawyer with a thriving legal firm, former Attorney General of Oyo state, and youngest ever member of Oyo State House of Assembly at age 26

15. Aisha Alhassan, senior lawyer who retired honorably as Chief Registrar at Court of Appeal

16. Abdulrahman Danbazau, foremost General, PhD holder from US University, respected in the military across the world

17. Babatunde Fashola, SAN, successful senior lawyer and reformer of Lagos public
infrastructure (ask some of us who are already missing him in Lagos considering the chaos we are now experiencing on Lagos roads)

18. Kayode Fayemi, PhD holder from University of London, resource person to so many global organizations on defence, military, and international relations

19. Osita Okechukwu, successful lawyer and former spokesman of the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties, CNPP; man who has been very consistent as opposition person all through the years.

These are the 19 I can recollect now (out of 36 names) and some daftie claimed there is no technocrat on the list!!!

Hmmm.

So after making one of his inlaws his chief of staff, Okorocha has succeeded in pushing another of his inlaw as minister nominee.
Its only a stranger dat doesnt know what Imolites are suffering in the hands of this crook called Rochas.
A government of the inlaws, by the cousins and for the nephews.

By the way, I thought Buhari once said dat governors will not appoint his ministers for him. I am still wondering where he knew Prof. Anwuka from? Or even Eric Osagie of Edo state.
This Bubu can lie for Africa!
Bros am sure you are not expecting him to name the Ihediora's in law as the ministerial nominee from Imo if Okorocha is bared from doing so. You wonder if the president could possibly know anyone from that part of the world,I put it to you that you can't mention names fifteen residents downtown your hood. That how bad it could get at times. Let's up the nominees work for the benefit of Nigeria and stop hating.

Festus odimegwu and tony anwuka are both from the same imo state. I doubt they would both make it. Though there are lots of other agencies and government parastatals that they can still be made to head. Ministers are not the only FG appointment.

Jonathan did way better. His team members were drawn from some of the best institutions across the globe etc Arthur Anderson, Goldman Sachs, United Nations, Harvard, MiT, etc.

This Buhari team is simply made up of politicians beong compensated. That means the treasury of their reapective ministries will be loooted. A total dissapointment.

Daftie, please check the names and their qualifications! Okechukwu Enelamah, MD of African Capital Alliance, who I know very well was an ex Arthur Andersen and a first-class material, Kemi Adeosun, Festus Odimegwu and others attended Harvard, Professor Isaac Adewole, outgoing VC of UL, Prof. Anwuka, Amina Mohammed is currently Special Adviser to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon on SDGs. Please see the list below and use your damn easy google to check their resume before spewing rubbish here!

Let us stop sending th indefensible.
He could as well give a sheet of paper to all governors outside Katwina state to nominate a minister and this process would have ended in 24 hrs.
He has been contesting for presidency for over 16 years and the best he can come up with is Okorocha's in-law who is not known for any stelar performance.
No matter how you spin it, It does not look well.

We do not really need technocrats as ministers in all positions, what we really do not need are questionable characters like Onyilola, Imo and the Kogi rumoured nominees who are being chosen to compensate certain individuals with no regard to credibility and competence.
