chukwudi44:What do you have to say about the Oduah case since you brought it up? Mr defender of every person accused of corruption. |

Did you call that clearing air? If I asked my student that question and he gave me this Fashola-like answer, I would score him zero. I was even expecting him to dismiss the allegation rather he admitted running a state government institution that awarded the contract. And the same people that impaled Odua are here celebrating Fashola's prevarication, philosophical and grammatical exercise. |

chukwudi44:Still conflating issues, Pa Chuks ![]() A highly reliable source has told SaharaReporters that the shady deal for the car was done entirely between Coscharis Motors Limited, a dealership from which the cars were purchased, one of Ms. Oduah’s private firms based in Abuja, and First Bank of Nigeria. SaharaReporters had revealed the account number at the First Bank into which the monies were paid on behalf of the NCAA.Source: http://saharareporters.com/2013/10/22/bmw-scandal-cocharis-car-dealership-gave-n112-million-kickback-aviation-minister |

lolaxavier:Hers was never even captured in the records. Investigations revealed the cars were never seen after they were delivered. Even the house committee only saw just one, but it was not with the same chassis information as the 2 procured. It was a clear case of a greedy fellow trying to use public funds not budgeted, and even borrowed (to be paid back with interest), to cater for a vain lifestyle. How come the already delivered cars were never found? |

StOla:Pa Chuks is part of the 'cut the baby in half' brigade that runs amok on these boards. For them, the truth is completely malleable. |

StOla even Fashola is not proud of that contract, I wonder why you are still defending it! If it truly worths that amount, don't you think the contract details would have been made public since? |

homesteady:I am not defending it, I am only rejecting the comparisons being made to a clear cut criminal case like Oduah's, where we have all the details of that deal to conclude she's a criminal. I'm not necessarily a Fashola fan. I did not even vote for him for his 1st term, but voted him for the 2nd term. I also decried his pacifist posture concerning the TB Joshua church collapse, as opposed to his Rambo posturing when buildings owned by regular people collapse. I guess we should now compel the very people who made this documented expenditure public for sensationalism, to also provide all the details for concise analysis before we hit the gavel. |

StOla:You asked earlier - What crime did Fashola commit. Fashola is a smart man, he would have demanded for public release of more details of the contract if it would help the case. |

chukwudi44:What is your problem with brown roofs. Do you have old buildings where you come from? Or are you people destroying your fore fathers legacy because you want to build new house? Where you see old brown roofing sheet, did you look further and you could not find a green , red, blue or white roofing sheets? What the brown roofs are telling you is that the labour of our heroes past are standing up side by side with the labour of their offspring's. Good manners is what you people referring to brown roofs as a mark of ( I don't even know what to say) lacking. |

Firefire:Institutions are constitutionally charged to perform these functions as asserted by the governor. He did not right any checks to himself and he did not enrich himself and he rightfully challenged people like you to prove him wrong. Finding out who the check was written to a known and in whose account the money landed is not rocket science or hard to find out . Saying the state spent too much on anything is one thing, and saying the former governor enriched himself is another thing. You have serious reading and comprehension issues. |

homesteady:Where were you when he demanded full disclosure and even challenged the people making the allegations to meet him in court instead of yelling on newspapers and the internet. And have they responded to his challenge? No. They've all shut their mouth and moved on.. |

aresa:Allegations? I'm not making any allegations, except you don't know the meaning of allegation! Many Nigerians were expecting him to give an answer to the over inflated contracts today, all he did was push the blame from his doorstep. |
