Hello House, I am on the verge of buying another gear for a Honda Accord 1999( baby boy 4 cylinder). The D4 sometimes do not drive unless I put it in other gears(D3 to 2 to 1) till it picks; however, this is done randomly. This only happens whenever I have a stop but moves perfectly on the move. Someone advised that its a gear selector issue to be changed and others say I have to buy another one.. Though, its relatively cheap but mehn that money plenty on the other hand. Please I need your view on this; if truly is to buy another gear or to fix the gear selector. Thanks. Gazzuz, lomomike, cardoctor, luvinhubby, et al, pls assist |

I drive an Accord 2007 V6. When I push the brakes hard, I could feel some grinding vibration on my foot which gives a poor braking distance. The brake disc and pad have been changed. What is the cause and solution pls? Also, I haven't changed the Transmission oil yet at 71k miles..Do I need to change it? I have the ATF-Z1 at the finger tips. Thanks |

Your mastery of automobiles is really amazing. You appear to have answers to every question. I use a Honda civic 2008 model and recently I realised that each time I put the car in drive especially early in the mornings, I hear this funny squeaky noise which stops after a short while. Kindly help with this issue. Regards. |

ifeanyi83:Squeeky sounds A lot could cause the squeekies, but my guess, based on the age of your car is, worn out brake pads or substandard brake pads. The brake pad wear indicators could have kicked in and currently doing their job. |

The great Gazzuzz....i have come again. There's this persistent issue I've been having with my car. I hear this pop-like sound in my left-side front tyre. My mechanic told me it was the steering rack because at a point, my steering was loose. I changed it but that sound still persists. Please can you offer any help? I wouldn't mind coming to your workshop. Regards. |
