I hav always respected muslim women in hijabs but frm yesterday evenin, i cease to respect any muslim nor their religion Just last nite, i went to eat akara in one corner and am naturally left-handed, i eat, write, bat, kick, slap, beat and do everytin else with my left hand except givin and recievin. So i was eating d akara with my left hand of course, dis muslim woman in hijab approached me and was like "why are u eating in da devil's way, eat with ur right hand" I was trying to explain to her dat i hav been eatin lik dis since birth and my parents neva complained so who is she to tell a man in early 20's how to eat immeaditely, she hit my plate to da ground nd held my collar as if we had a dispute. I Jst landed her one slap nd she left me alone. All dis okada men gathered when dey heard her crying. She started again "u are a devil, devil" I jst left dat place ashamed!
Am really disappointed in muslims,is dis wat ur religion teaches? Let any bast.ard muslim try dat nonsense with me again! Enough said

Muslims who take the hadiths serious believe that mohammed got a revelation that shyatan (muslims version of satan) eats with his left hand. So muslims are warned to only use their left hand to clean their butts after using the toilet perhaps to mock shaytan..

This seems like a joke but this is what a lot of muslims believe..

First, according to Islamic beliefs (esp. Quran), the word "shay'tan" has several meanings one of which is "the outcast", "the hidden" etc.
Quran talks about a certain creature called "Iblis" who by nature is a JINN (a hidden creature) {see surah Kahf:50}. He rejected and go against God's order; therefore he was removed from God's kingdom of extra mercy. He along with his followers were termed "Shay'tan, outcast".
NB: Shay'tan like other Jinn, like other creatures too, eats and defecate.

Second, Iblis vowed to mislead man away from God's call and path. If God says go to the right, he will invite to the left. Quran exposed him severally in many verses. Shay'tan aim and objective is to destroy man.

Now to your challenge. There are several ahadith that says we should not drink from a broken part (edge) of e.g a cup. The hadith says "because shay'tan love staying there". Our Ulama interprets "shay'tan" here to mean "germs, microbes" in the meaning of "hidden" and not the "the shay'tan" in the meaning of the Outcast, Iblis. Another hadith says men should trip his moustache because shay'tan used to hid in a bushy moustache. Here too, it refer to microbes not Iblis.

In line with these meaning, it is proven that faeces contain a lot of harmful microbes. Using right-hand, which is normally used to eat, to clean/wash our anus could have some of these microbes stick to the hands especially if the hands is not disinfectantly washed. And by eating with such hands could harm us. This is proven scientifically. So while hadith of the Prophet enjoined the Muslims to eat with their right-hand and wash the butt with left, Shay'tan do the opposite (of what God orders) by inviting man to use left to eat and right to clean his butt. This will harm man and hinders him from God's remembrance due to sickness.

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was told of a woman who prayed during night and fasted a lot during day and gave alms generously, but whose neighbors complained of her abusive tongue. He said that she would be in Hellfire. When Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was told of another woman who did not do all those extra acts of worship other than just compulsory but whose neighbors were happy with her, he said that she would be in Paradise.

So it is clear from the above hadiths that he (peace be upon him) regard bad behaviour with abhorrance and showed his companions the effects of good and evil conduct.
