Same army drones....you dummy.

Your BSc military science degree certificate paper should be used by groundnut sellers to wrap and sell roasted groundnuts
.
Does Nigerian army not have a drone? I can also equally say that. The drones were used by 10 squadron (SAAF, Potchefstroom) and are now used by the army. Who cares by the way who use them? For so long they belong to SANDF.

1 Gripen is worth 10 F7 Gripens
Dont reduce the thread into some fiction. The unit price of gripen can without any doubt buy you 10 F7 jets.

Jane's defense 2015 report says SAAF drone inventory has been closed down, you are posting old photos of retired dead drones.

That Vulture drone photo in the bush, does your air force wear that uniform and operate inside the bush to fly drones?

The drone is CONFIRMED as army drone....

"The Vulture UAV will serve as the airborne forward observer for the artillery arm of the South African Army"

http://www.engineeringnews.co.za/article/sandf-to-receive-first-unmanned-air-vehicle-later-this-year-2004-03-26

SAAF has no drone.

You don't even know the difference between an army man and air force man IN YOUR OWN SOUTH AFRICAN MILITARY where you claim to be an officer.

Now we all know you are fake ! tonguetongue
We all wear the same camo in all arms, Army, Navy, Air force and special forces. Yes, our Air force wear same uniform and work in the bush. Even though that were not Airforce on that picture of soldiers preparing vulture drone for a take off does not mean SAAF does not wear camo.

The seeker 1 of the now dedunct 10 squadron in Potch belonged to the Air force and were again put into use to patrol our borders.

SAAF wearing camo.

First, your numbers are completely ludicrous... 3 men man a mortar, a platoon is 16 men, same with the HMG's... so how does 16 men man 10 mortars AND 20 HMG's? You fvcking clown

Second, 200 v 3000... what outcome do you expect?

Nigerian army would have taught them a lesson? the same lesson you taught boko haram when only 4000 of them kicked 20 000 of your men out of over 40 towns and cities?

You are a joke
-- one company of paratroopers (100+ men)... 1 HMG/5 trooper =20 HMGs
-- 2 men can operate a mortar, so 10 mortars for 20+ men (support team)...

-- illite.rate a platoon is 12-24 men.

-- 2 HMG/truck, theres 4 trucks + 2 hornets = 10 HMGs

-- HMGs for other teams

-- use logic when making argument so you wouldnt sound foolish

From the mouth of Nigerian General.

Nigerian F-7's cannot fire precision guided missiles, and its air force platforms are largely obsolete.

Good only for cross dressing.

All this begi begi Nigeria is doing for weapon and training; we seek aid and training from the US,UK,Canada,Germany,France,at this point in time, should we even be accepting free aid anymore?,with all our potential,it is indeed disturbing.
Why do we even need to source infantry training from Europe?,dont we have better options here in Africa?,what happened to the veterans of the bush war?,why cant we bring them in to train our men and improve our doctrine?,what happened to the lionhearts who fought in our civil war?,why cant we bring these men back to share their training and vast experience?
what happened to the veteran ethiopian and eritrean battle-hardened highly skilled soldiers?,why cant we bring together the best military minds in Africa to overhaul our TRADOC and build a highly-skilled infantry force that would rival even the world best marines?..

But no,what our politicians know how to do best is to wear agbada and speak english in the parliament, too caught-up in their political schemes.

I think it is time for retired military men to begin finding their way into Nigerian politics, the military doesnt seem to have a strong voice in parliament.
It is encouraging that Gen. Dambazzau has been confirmed as a minister of the FRN.
Also, our privately owned defence companies should begin to integrate themselves with influencial senators and honourables, paving way for the chance to lobby, fund and advertise their products, the same way Dangote,Glo,Nigerian Brewries,Innoson,MTN,Royal Shell and some other big companies are all doing.
They cant simply sit down in their manufacturing plants and expect big contracts to drop into their lap out of thin air.

Something that will never happen in SADC. Whenever you invite US-troops on you turf you invite more death and militants.

AFRICOM will turn West africa to another US enclave.

It has everything to do with you because you exported the terror to your neighbours when your coward soldiers allowed them to occupy land in Nigeria before the very same Cameroon and Chad came to rescue your incompetent army.

This is a reflection on the weakness of Nigeria that it cannot prevent the export of terror to its smaller neighbours. Now a foreign occupying power will be on your doorstep.

Citations needed for 6000 sorties

SAAF flew 18 000 hours last year
Citation for NAF flying 6,000 combat sorties has been repeteadly asked for by you and repeatedly posted here over 20 times in the past few months. Nobody will waste time repeating that for you, it's been over repeated. Stop messing up this forum by asking for repetitions of same thing over and over again.

SAAF has flown ZERO combat sorties this year, so when you attempt what NAF has done, we can measure your own accidents crash rates.

6,000 sorties of Northern region war not counting non-military flights in South, East, and West, NAF has only 3 accidental crashes.....one of the best records of safety in the world.

SAAF, please show us how you flew 6,000 combat sorties this year 2015 tonguetongue

Fraud you said SANDF don't use drones.

By the way the army and airforce work together the one arm can't function without the other arm.

The point was we've been using drones way before any other country on the continent.

Why do SANDF need one when there are air force squadrons who are dedicated with those tasks. As a so called analysts its things you should know.

NA has nothing over SANDF only dead platforms facts.

1) No dedicated AH helo platform

2) No multi role jet fighter

3) No JDAMS

4) No GBADS

5) No army wide data link

Nonsense, encircle us for what?,70% of BH militants are from Cameroon and Chad, these countries need foreign military aid as much as possible.
Moreover, their isnt any AFRICOM base in Cameroon, therefore it is obvious that US footprint in Cameroon is temporal.
Lol,threatening Niger,Chad and Cameroon with diplomatic, economic and military action will pitt us against France, which is a nuclear power. The dynamics in SADC is vastly different from that in ECOWAS; 9 of the 14 ECOWAS countries are former french colonies,if we openly defy western tendencies without proper regional concensus,we may end up losing regional support.

SADC is the most peaceful and richest region of Africa today. You don't need AFRICOM base.

War /Refugee crisis /Insurgencies /Terrorism in Mali, Chad, Sudan, Libya,Tunisia, Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo DRC, etc makes AFRICOM a vital help for poor and weak countries.

If the Islamic rebels and terrorists of our Sahel/Maghreb/Sahara region shift base to SADC, you will have about 100,000 heavily armed insurgents scattering your region. That number is double the size of South African army, I wonder how a country like Namibia or Burundi will cope on the battlefields.
