hello guys,i checked my Cic account found my review of medical as been changed to passed since monday,i did upfront medical Online, what does that mean? your response will be appreciated!

Means you're on a good path, CIC is ok with the outcome of your medical result. Since you submitted online and have done your biometrics, next should be passport request.

Pls house, Is 3.54/5.0 up to 77% (B+). Cos this prof said they strictly admit that.. Tho after evaluation from wes its 3.15/4.0

thesoj, sholay2011, ayotoluwani, berexio1 and others.

3.54/5.0 = 70.8% but
3.15/4.0 = 78.8% so I'll suggest you send your transcript (if you've a WES evaluation) as requested and see what they decide.

Hello House,
Please i will like to consider applying to schools in the french speaking province of Canada. Please can any one help with info on schools that offer masters or grduate diploma or certifcate full time course program in Human resources.

I am humbly standing by for your responses...

Thank you and God bless
Do you want to study in French or in English?

English schools in Quebec : Concordia uni, McGill uni, Dawson College, LaSalle college. You'll have to check to see which offers your course.

Thanks bro..

But the wes evaluation isn't a WES Canada thingy...
Let me explain, I was planning to apply to a school in USA which requires WES BUT i dont plan to apply there again and I shifted my attention to Canada... Someone was telling me yesterday that 3.15 isn't evaluated in Canada standard for I have to re-evaluate and Use WES Canada..

What should I do?. Should I send the evaluation like that or I should re-evaluate using wes Canada?

Yay! My application has been approved. My toddler and I.

UOttawa MEng Jan 2016
Upfront Medicals.
Online application submitted 26th
Biometrics 29th September
Passport Request 8th October
Passport sent 12th October
Approval 15th October

12 work days in all. Thanks to you all that have contributed to this thread in one way or the other. Special thanks to Team12, I never contacted you but knowing we have similar circumstances I followed your posts closely. Wishing all TRV hopefuls same success stories. Just put in your best in your application and leave the rest to God. While packaging your application, put yourself in the position of a VO and give detailed explanation and support documents to answer any question/clarification you think they may need.

Time to go search for accommodation and alternate child care center. The waitlist seems to be on snail speed.

What flights are cheap with shorter layovers?

Hello akin, its been a while.
let me be the first to screen you (constructively tho!)

according to your info above, you have degree in civil eng.you are 23 years old, that means you gained admission into university at the age of 13 if your program was 4 years duration, think about this.
the guy was not satisfied with your personal finance, therefore add more convincing documents.

your response on this could suggest more directions.

Well, I finished ssce at 16 in 2008, gained admission into a 5year civil engineering degree at d university.
Due to strike et al I finished BSC at 22 in 2014.

minus 4 university academic years.

Well, he really got me soooo wrong.
Not bad.

I can pick that he stated I intend to go for. College diploma "IN SAME" (civil engineering)

Can academically idle be sarcastic from the VOS point of view

I don't know what u meant by "if I got this by doing the last 2 semester". I sent my transcript to WES for evaluation, (a skol in USA requires WES evaluation). My undergraduate cgpa is 3.54(second class upper)/5.0 BUT after WES evaluation, it is 3.15/4.0.
Tho my last 2sememter GPA was good cos I started so very baaaad..
U can use the WES free evaluation tool on their website..Slot in ur scores for the last 2yrs, it will calculate for u..

Or can it be the VO is wondering why he is going from BSC to Diploma instead of Masters. I understand you cant go lower than your first educational qualification...

Hello house, I have done my biometrics but it hasn't been updated on my cic account... Is this normal. Online route. I did the biometrics on Monday
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by berexio1: 6:11pm On Oct 16, 2015
Gcms are a real pointer to how any application is perceived..Instead of stressing ur head and thinking all around ur application, ur gcms can point u in the right direction.

@Akin, the VO wey handle ur file smoke igbo

@Akin here u are changing courses here and there while the VO thinks u left school 7 yrs ago..These people make mistakes too. Mere looking at ur age and college diploma, anyone can assume. So first is for u to correct that misrepresentation.

Secondly, he wants u to have assets even know he confirmed u worked as a trainee with little pay..He wants ur balance to show good money. Yet he wants u to be honest in ur application.

My take: Just give him what he wants to see and collect ur TRV

How is ur australian parole tho?

Probably, but people in this forum have gone for a diploma after first degree.

My main bone of contention is that: didnt d VO go through his application thoroughly? Are there no documents that shows that he finished last year?

Just a quick tip/advice for all who just arrived to Canada or will be coming soon. If you intend getting a car sooner or later, consider starting your drivers licence process asap, depending on your province it could take up to 3 years to get a full licence. However, coming with a 9ja licence can speed up the process to 3 weeks like literally. Furthermore, tho it may be allowed to drive or to get a car with a 9ja license+offshore later, they are certain benefits you get in possessing your province drivers licence. benefits like, using it as a means of ID as opposed to carrying your Passport+visa about, getting some jobs, and also getting a cheaper premium on your car insurance. Cheers guys!!

Na wa for these VOs oh. I don't understand the "academically idle for the past 7 years" thing. Perhaps maybe he/she was being sarcastic sha.

Or maybe the VO was confused and thought you finished your BSc in 2008? Yeah I agree that this makes no sense given your age, but it is possible the VO didn't think through it. It appears that the college diploma thing is what threw off the VO.

True, there are people who have gotten a TRV for a diploma after first degree. However, this seems to be the exception and not the norm. It appears as though CIC heavily prejudices college diploma applicants if they already have a BSc, given that a college diploma is lower than a BSc.
