Please aw do I go about proving this. I submited my employment letter, my investments and account balance.

Both of these are suffering because of poor ties to return home.
The first thing that you must do is to prove to the visa officer that you will return home after your visit.
Finances are part of this, but ties to employment, family or property are required.

You should not have a business and NOT pay tax.
Go to LIRS and sort yourself out both for the backlog and for the future.

Stop being a tax 'avoider'!

Good Morning my Visa consultants in the house.
Abeg my problem is in three parts
1 I applied for a tourist Visa as a first timer
2 I got a mail after 3 working days that the visa is ready for pick up(Though out of town)
3 The hotel name i have on my application is different from the one i finally booked and confirmed.
My worry is that how come its that fast abi them just look am toss the thing away?On the other hand every other thing is so on point ranging from the 6 months play slip, to bank statement and all.
I will so appreciate your contribution on this cos am so scared to pick up my passport.

Go and pick your passport. Nothing we say here will change your outcome.

Goodday everyone,
I av bn following this thread recently. I was denied visa based on the fact that I did nt state my proper itenery in the UK cos I had stated in my application that I av no relative and I would be doing some sight seeing as well as little shopping and also my balance at the time I submitted the application was not enough. However I submited my Tbills worth 2.1 million naira. One tranch would be maturing by Nov which should be more than enough for my trip. Please advise me, cos they said there is no right of appeal or right to administrative review.

Re-apply after your Tbill has matured and explain the cash as it reflects in your account. ECO believe more in liquidity of cash in bank account than Tbill.

The process is not really different. Fill the forms online, make payment & book appointment.

Attend your appointment with a print out of your application form, appointment confirmation, receipt of payment and other documents.

Gtb MasterCard (Token needed) worked for me and my brother.

Mine took less than 5days, My brother about 7days and we both submitted in VI. (Their Processing times vary for some people 15 working days or more)

The link below explains all much better

You are amazing, thanks so much @kaydguru

Hello Justwise

Just this year May and June whatsapp chat I sent and no email. In addition I sent birthdays cards, money transfer receipts, calling cards and Lycamobile itemised bill from March to June 2015

I understand that but what i want to know is...is there any other document(s) you have now that you did not submit previously?

When you say income are you talking about making 250monthly from your business.? Is that 250k profit before or after business expenses. Consider going back to them

If you had been paying from the get go you wouldn't need to to pay a lump sum like that.

please my question is:
1. can i apply during my final year and be successful if all requirements are being fulfilled?
2. what are my chances of getting the Visa in my final year
3. Read about the 28-day rule about the bank statement but clearly did not understand it so if explained better, would be glad.

1. Ans - noone can tell you if you will be successful
2. Ans - same as 1
3. If you applied in July then you shouldn't need to ask this question.

Go to ukvisas government site as you did the last time and check what the requirements for the visa you want.

For Special Visitor Visa - Child Visitor, I think you pay the same amount you'll pay for a General Visitor Visa.

Paying for two dependants on Monday, so I'll confirm my fear.

Your signature is seen as the point at which you have agreed to an agreement or contract, which becomes legally binding. In contract law one of the fundamental principles is that there should be a meeting of minds between the parties. Usually a signature is used as evidence of this.

Seriously, I can't believe you made this mistake. I doubt if the ECO will overlook this.

@Justwise over to you.

Hello Justwise

I need advice on a visa refusal. My husband got his passport today and he is been refused on the following grounds:
We first met on 10/04/2012 and started the relationship in August 2012 and got married on 06/08/2014
We used calling cards as evidence of communication but the calling cards have no names and they aware that cards are readily available in Ghana to purchase as second hand. There is no itemised telephone records so they not satisfied.
The photographs provided are of our wedding day with a few on different occasions. However it appears that these photographs were all taken during the same visit by your sponsor. So therefore am not satisfied. Furthermore there is no evidence that your sponsor has been to visit you after the marriage on August 2014. Am not satisfied that your relationship is genuine and subsisting or that you intend to live together permanently in the UK.

Those are the reasons. Please advice me on what to do? Should I do the appeal or what? And If I do, and add extra supporting documents as I went to Ghana last month as a prove, do we have a chance ? Do I need to get a lawyer? Any suggestions on the platform will be appreciated. Thank you

Will you be able to remove all personal details and paste the refusal letter here or pm?

That should have been spotted at visa centre before they collected it from you, if they have problem with it you will be contacted.

Thanks bro!...Yes, I think they noticed it while I was submitting, because the lady checked it well before she requested for my passport photo.
Anyways, I hope it doesnt affect my application. Will keep you updated.

Are you on paid employment or self employed?

Is her Fashion Business registered?

Does she pay tax?

Does her business have an account?

You'll need all your documents to sponsor her, but answer those questions and we shall take it up from there.

I asked if her fashion business was registered with the corporate affairs commission (CAC) and running an account which would have increased her chances of getting the visa. However since you are the sponsor and self employed, you'll need the following documents to support her application;

(a) Marriage Certificate and Pictures
(b) Child Birth Certificate (if a child is in the marriage)
(c) Your company's Certificate of Incorporation
(d) Company Tax Clearance Certificate
(e) Personal Income Tax Card
(f) Company's statement of account
(g) Personal/Salary Statement of account ( Note that as a business owner, you're required to pay yourself monthly wages from your business)
(h) Contract award letter, Contract Documents, Business documents, receipts, Invoices, bill of lading e.t.c (Evidence of funds)

If your wife has an account, she should also include it in the application.

Over to you.

Definitely YES. But why are you bothered about a refusal stamp?

NOTE: Refusal stamps on a passport is not an obstacle and it doesn't mean one will not be issued a UK or any other country's visa on same passport once your reason for travel is genuine.

Cleaning a refusal stamp could easily be detected by any embassy and the aftermath is a ban
