Back to the topic, the dispute has rightly been b/w the Igbo nation and the Hausa/Fulani nation, 'cus we have completely different ideologies. Now, the Yorubas who should have stayed out of this have surprisingly, been the ones at the fore-front of the war against the Igbo nation. The Yorubas & Hausa/Fulani, are actually strange bedfellows, but the Yorubas, will gladly align with the Hausa/Fulani, as long as it has anything to do with subjugating Ndi Igbo, and halting our progress. The yorubas have this innate fear in them that on a level playing ground, Ndi Igbo will always have the upper hand, so they do not mind mortgaging their future by aligning with the north, as long as it affords them the opportunity to stifle any competition from Ndi Igbo.
All I have to say to the Yoruba nation is this: since you've chosen to chase after Ndi Igbo, instead of charting your own course, you will forever keep chasing after us, but the bad news is that you will never catch up with us. That is the cross you'll have to bear, for being filled with untold jealousy and envy against the great Igbo nation.

You lot overrate Nigeria too much. The Nigerian military can't even defend Nigeria against a 5th rate country. With the modern ant-ship missiles available today - anyone can sink all the ancient ships the Nigerian Navy has within 48hours. The Nigerian air-force is non-existent and you don't even need overly sophisticated manpads to shoot down all the flying coffins they have and their amateur airmen who can't really manoeuvre anything. And just enough TOW missiles should keep the Nigerian ground troops in check after turning all their tanks and APCs into scrap metal. Fighting Nigeria is nothing, especially if you have the right external support. However, you don't need to go the violence route. The country will hit the brick-wall without violence with time. Just be patient and keep strategising.

Since 1970,we've been championing the course for ethno regional autonomy yet some sections think that we're joking kos they thought they won a war
Now,we've gone past the phase of regional autonomy and are pressing for full independence. And I'd suggest Nigeria do some soul searching kos the next phase in which I'd participate is a violent war that'd ruin this country and open it up for absorption by Niger, Benin and Chad.

What made boko haram last up to date is that its not a tribal group but a religious group and as such the Nigerian military can't just shelling/bombing towns & villages unlike Biafra which is a tribal thing: biafra have an homeland that can be targeted even from Miles away with lots of the military platforms available with the Nigerian military.

In the fight against boko haram, several heavy military platforms were not used due to the kind of conflict the military is engaged in but in a military confrontation with a defined enemy, the Nigerian military will inflict a heavy casualty on them & if anyone doubt it, they can give it a try.

Answer.
They easily defeated Iraq because it a country that exist on a space of land while the Taliban is like a religious group that don't put on uniform nor do they have a recognized space that can be targeted. The same how's for Boko Haram which is a religious group that mostly dresses as civilians and the sneak in & out of villages.

You claimed that boko haram is a rag tag force! That's a big lie as boko haram fighters are trained in Libya, Mali, chad, Niger republic, Syria, Algeria etc, they are 10 times more powerful than the Niger Delta militants.

If I may ask? Haven't you seen videos of their attacks? If not try and watch like 4 & you will know what boko haram use in their war against the Nigerian military, hundreds if anti aircraft guns are their major weapons against Nigerian infantries.

Lmao. BH is a ragtag group and I've seen a lot of their videos. Apart from RPGs and anti-aircraft guns - what else do they have? they don't even have Howitzers that anyone can get from the black market easily.

A group like Al Nusra will overrun the whole of Nigeria within 6 months.
