Fulani herdsmen kill two farmers in Anambra

An attack on Omasi community in Anyamelum local government area of Anambra State on Wednesday by suspected Fulani herdsmen has left two persons dead.
One person was also critically injured and on danger list as at the time this report was filed

Daily Independent gathered that the casualties were recorded when the herdsmen who wielded dangerous weapons launched a deadly attack on farms in the town.

Loved the matured dignified manner that oozes with class in which they handled this issue.

Am also very happy that the real culprits were caught as this would no doubt go a long way towards redressing some of the imbalanced bad press the Fulanis had been receiving.

Many do not know that they are often killed and robbed for their valuable cattle - just a few head of cows are worth millions of Naira which the Fulani can ill afford to lose and subsequently playing into their culture of revenge; for which they are often wrongly portrayed as the initial aggressors rather victims provoked into retaliation.

Hopefully next time ppl may give them the benefit of doubt and not quickly rush into conclusion on hearing such stories.
