This jus goes to show how selfish our senators are. . How come he didn't talk about the real reasons d president didn't assent to the amendments. How come he didn't mention the major bones of contention and controversy from the said amendments and now he is trying give credence to GEJ'S unpopularity by as usual Blaming him. Some of una wey dey comment have little or no idea the controversial issues really raised by the said amendment or are simply APC fanboys.

The DSP went on to state that it was time the nation embraced the reality that the South-east deserves an additional state for the sake of equity in the distribution of resources and opportunities.

The stupidity inherent in this comment above proves that those who purport to leading us are breft of intelligence. No part of the country needs any state. We should even be discussing how to merge the existing ones. All they do is go to Abuja, collect aa portion of continually shrinking allocation and squander it. A task as simple as paying salaries is a burden to the marauding barbarians. If you can't pay your workforce and are lack the political will to rationalize its size, then you are unfit to live.
Ekweremadu should stop spewing all these ethnic jingoistic crap that the elite use to deceive the masses Into believing that they have their best interest at heart.
