I have been privileged to know people and close relatives who are opportune to know a lot of past Eastern governors, the story is the same in the sense that all our leaders do is to eat the money. The northern states don't get Federal allocations better than us, neither are they more educated than us, they are not more intelligent than us, but the help themselves more than us, that's why the entire civil services, military, customs, etc is full of them.
