kaakulator3:Dis one don kolo. Yorubas should play games that, at least, they can be forgiven for should Biafra come. I pity Yorubas if by any chance Biafra comes without clear support from Yorubas. They will be made insignificant and abandoned area that they will regret and curse their ancestors who refused to see beyond their present. |

NAIJASOM:yorubas can actually do well living with fulanis and other northerners in a different country. They share a lot in common starting with Islam. At least there will be no competion from the uneducated north and no Igbos to compete with and lament. yorubas should see the positive side of living alone with fulanis. They will be kings in the land of blind with only one eye. |

benega: If you went through what Germany and Japan in particular (atomic genocide) went through, you wouldn't be flattered! It is all in the nature of Biafra to overstate anything to his advantages. Out out Biafra! |

Lets even assume the nonsense the OP wrote from his warped imagination is true, why are Ibos begging Yoruba to support their bid for Biafra? If you are going to come up with conspiracy theories at least it should make sense and be plausible. Should Yoruba not be happy you want to go on a second suicide mission and loose the phantom advantage you claim to possess over everyone else? At least they should embrace your attempt as that means the federal post shared with SE will be taken up by other educated Yorubas. And other ibos who flee will leave more private sector jobs will be open for only the remaining educated Nigerians. And to the booth, Ibo will need another 30-40 years to make full recovery after their second defeat. The wise saying is what an elder can see lying down cannot be seen by a youngster standing up. Also the warning of the hen to the chicks not step out at a particular time is to prevent the chick becoming lunch for the hawk. Awolowo warned the youthful Ojukwu to step back from the futile mission but chest beating trait got the better of him and his people. Even Azikiwe had to abandon Ojukwu at a point and turned up in Lagos during the war. Ibos today are worse off as they have lack the luxury of a central leader to start anything, all they have are just rabble-rousers and online thugs, no substance. The current misguided cry will soon fizzle out. |

mej67:LWKMD!! RFLMAO!! Envy, kwa??! In what specific way were they envious of your people and how was it expressed, prior to the civil war? Don't forget that your people relocated from the North back to the East as a result of the pogrom in the North. From my research, the Igbo and Yoruba had access to education and both groups had high quality professionals at the helm of affairs in almost every industry, in the sixties! You this guy Mej67, you are too funny for words. But seriously, I must commend Yoruba people. There is some kind of secret formula that you Yoruba guys have used on other tribes, that makes them talk and hyperventilate about your ethnic group without ceasing. It is as if their daily routine is not complete, without mentioning your tribe. Please whatever that secret charm is, you need to bottle it and sell it in the open market...you guys will make a lot of money! ![]() mej67:Guy, you need to go back and re-learn your history, o! Ojukwu declared secession. And he refused to rescind his decision despite appeals from different quarters at that time, and despite the initiation of police action by the federal side. Secondly, the Igbo themselves asked Ojukwu for arms that they were prepared to fight their enemies. So like someone said on another forum: "why blame others for a war that you went into, with both eyes open?" When war happens, people die. It is a sad reality and a highly regrettable one. May the souls of the departed on both sides, rest in peace. Another thing was that your leaders did not sit down properly, to count the cost of going to war. If they had done that, maybe the story would have been different. If they had accepted the offer of a land corridor through which food could be sent to the South-East during the war, maybe more folks would have survived. As for the abandoned property issue, it happened in Rivers state. Please talk to your kith and kin in those areas, as well as other SS folks who have vowed to be part of your 'Biafr.a project, to return your abandoned properties. mej67:Guy, I cannot speak for the Yoruba, but I suspect the reason why they do not bother about the Niger-Delta struggle is because the Niger-Delta folks do not accuse the Yoruba of being responsible for their woes like the Igbo often do, neither do they resent them publicly or visit them with hate for things they are supposed to have done to them, or didn't do. And a number of Middle-Belt folks have declared publicly that they will visit their invaders with severe punishment and reprisal attacks, as long as such invaders continue intruding into their ancestral lands. Did they call for Yoruba support at any time? Why not allow the Middle-Belt to lament the lack of support from the South-West, for goodness sake?? Wetin come be your own?As for their alliance with the North, why are you crying louder than the bereaved?? If their alliance works or fails, how is that your own headache? Let the Yorubas bear the brunt alone, if such ties fail or not. Or were you the one who brokered the alliance between the North and the Yorubas? Na wah, o! As for Fani-Kayode, am still waiting for the Yoruba to tell us publicly whether Fani-Kayode is now their new spokesman, or if he expresses their collective will or not. Until then, I will not take him seriously. ![]() mej67:Na wah, o! Abeg, for those of us who are not from the South-West...these your antics are hilarious! Why can't you just do what you want to do, without dragging other non-Igbo along in your wake? Okey Enelamah has been offered a position. Hallelujah! If he was not offered anything, you guys would still complain. Chai! ![]() |

If only God will allow igbos to speak with one voice the whole nation and the world at large will Shriver greatly, for that's the only problem the igbo nation had, not even the north nor west can stop them any time the can come together and agree on one course and work together to its attainment without NDIKWE NA NDIEGWEGHI. Thenbyou can see they naturally have the ability to rule the world. A word for the wise |

laudate: Ojukwu defended Igbos from ethnic cleansing no matter the attempts of hypocrites to cover up their evils. You see, many of you have mainly survived by ass-licking and the lopsided arrangement in the polity. And since the Great Igbo Nation isn't ready to follow such path of dishonour you distort history and employ lies, falsehood and propaganda to malign them at every given opportunity using the numerous media outfits at your disposal. |

mej67:Stop trying to twist the truth! The Yorubas never see the Igbos as a rival but the Igbos are the one that envy the Yorubas; Ojukwu & other Igbo leaders met with Awolowo & came up with an agreement but the Igbos betrayed the Yorubas. The igbos even went further to invade a Yoruba town called Ore in Ondo state, Banjo & several Yoruba military men that fought on the side of Biafra since the start of the civil war were killed by Ojukwu after he claimed that they wanted to overthrow him: if I may asked how will a Yoruba man who risked his life to give the Igbos most of the victory they achieved during the civil war try to overthrow an Igbo leader in his own declared country? Let the truth be told as only the Yorubas handed back all the properties the igbos left in Yoruba land in the beginning of the war back to them & the Yorubas were the first tribe to allow Igbos back into their mist before any other tribe in Nigeria, so how will a sensible person lie through his anus? Many people have to go back & do a lot of research on what actually lead to the civil war and what happened during the war rather that listern to only your tribes side of events. |
