CyberWolf:In 2011, In the whole North (NC,NW and NE) Buhari was only leading Jonathan with about 3.3million vote. In the south west, Jonathan was leading Buhari with 2.4million votes. This means if we cancel all the elections from south east, Jonathan would have still won 2011 elections. |

Ballmer:It crosses all divides. I've seen a lot of tribal Igbo posters who are sensible but they're not in majority. I've also seen alot of tribal Yoruba posters who are sensible but are too insultive, brashly and too full of themselves, unfortunately they are in majority and they know themselves. Asotan won po. |

FKO81:so how come they couldnt give GEJ the same number of votes in 2015? Did they all die? Or they simply chickened out. You people destroyed Goodluck with your lies. You told him your population is 80% of Lagos population, that your votes in Lagos and the North will be enough to give him a 2nd term. GEJ being the simple man that he was believed you, but what happened? Weeks to the elections your folks in the north all ran away....u see its one thing to boast online its another to face the wrath of Northerners....you couldnt back your words with action...you ran away....as for Lagos the Yorubas simply came out to show the world that the combined votes of both the Ss and SE people is no where near their own...in the long run GEJ learnt the hard way....Never in his life will he trust an Igbo man. |

atbu1983:Edo man, Who were the people that gave him those votes in the North? GEJ had 1.9m from plateau state which where were strictly Igbos and Christians at plateau state that voted him, what about Kaduna still Igbos and Kaduna South people gave him those votes. What of Kano, Maiduguri, Sokoto, Gombe Kebbi, Adamawa, Bauchi who gave GEJ votes from all those states? |

The Northern elites created Bokoharam to ensure power returns to the North in 2015 and that was what brought Buhari to Power. |

winniz:This post is not about North. It is about saying the truth. Which is Yoruba contribution to making Jonathan president far out weigh Igbo contribution in value. but you guys took advantage of Jonathan naivety and prevented him from running a more efficient govt |

atbu1983:shut up and stop fooling yourself. Go and Google Kanti bello vs Dora Akunyili. The northern oligarch hated Dora because of her decisive memo during that period. of course Yorubas are noisemakers who thought mere protest on the streets of Lagos could have landed Jonathan the presidency. fools |

winniz:That is a BIG FAT LIE. Dora was the Minister of Information under Yar Adua. When Yar adua was sick, she was doing her job and was telling Nigeria whatever Turai and the cabal want her to say. Note: we cant blame her for that. Then came Save Nigeria group. with tuned Bakara, femi falana and wole Soyinka as major drivers. Then also came the popularity of Sahara reporters which was writing a lot of articles against Yar adua kitchen cabinent. It was under this tense situation towards the tail end of the struggle, that Prof Dora Akunyli decided to speak her mind. Yes she was the first serving miisters to support save Nigeria group. but the pressure created by save Nigeria group was already high. Yes she tried, but you cant compare her contribution to what save Nigeria group did. Save Nigeria Group started their movement and protest in January 2010. Dora made her comment in FEC meeting 3rd February, 2010. |

Hey guys wait, and save your emotions bc the op is fooling around... Lemme tell you what you dunno... In the op's paragraph he highlighted all the vote count in SW, N, SS and excluded the SE. This is not coincidental. He quickly went further and relegated the SE vote aside that Jonathan would have won without the SE votes. With evidence of proof he posted, I deduced that the SE votes alone was whooping 5 million approximately in favor of Jonathan. while SW have 2 millions of vote in favour of Jonathan approximately, and SS was 6million approximately. You can check the details he posted and confirm. Going by that way with chunk of a whooping 5million from SE votes with the northerners Jonathan would have won let alone to merge it up with the SS 6 million vote. That's what the op is hiding inside that long epistle... Let's compare... Even with the 2 million from SW alone Jonathan wouldn't have won... But with only the SE votes Jonathan would have won... Fast forward to 2015 those whooping votes from SE couldn't come bc of some factors that defranchised Jonathan even before voting exercise was conducted. 1) in The SE many people couldn't get their permanent voters card bc it wasn't disbursed at the LGA. And you can't use temporal voters card... What a big blow for Jonathan.. 2) the issue of card readers was used to cut down people that came to vote that day who frustratedly went home that day... 3. Radio Biafra was also an influence as many people tend to follow the advise of the radio station in boycotting the election. In conclusion, no matter how the Yorubas try to paint us that we are not relevant in politics... Only the politicians know the power behind the SE in determining elections. |

FreeGlobe:Senator Kanti Bello was only mad at Dora simply because he felt she betrayed Turai whom she was always cooking Ogbono soup for when the going was good. Dora abandoned the Turai cabal after the Save Nigeria Group mounted a serious protest to get the National assembly to swear in Jonathan as acting president. |
