I personally don't fancy PH, the city is over rated.

But know this, if you concede PH to those people, they will still find a way to assign negative connotations to your act of leaving PH for them. They will make up crazy dumbfounding negative stories as to why you surrendered the city to them, and they will keep repeating their made up stories to each other, until even they come to hold those lies as the absolute and sacrosanct truth, a form of group plagued Pseudologia fantastica.

They will question your motives, assign negative motives to your very act of leaving the city , and then heighten their suspicion of you more, and when your guard are down, they will still sell you out.

They will be like: " for this people to leave this city they cherish this much to us, they must have a back up evil plan in the background waiting to use against us".

Their Igbophobia is incurable, and it's a waste of time trying to cure them of it. They are simply irredeemable.

They are angry and afraid that we renamed PH Igweocha in order to claim it


PH is a city the Ikwerres Ijaws and Ogonis have laid claim to. It is also one of the reasons Saro Wiwa and Isaac Boro betrayed Biafra



My fellow Biafrans, if the price we must pay to get the support of the Riverine people is to allow them take full ownership of PH even if they plan to make it a city in Nigerdelta Republic, so be it.



We can build better cities that can never be rival by PH and it is absolute stupidddd to allow a piece of land stop our match to freedom the way Ojukwu allowed his fears of neocolonialism stopped him from exchanging oil for weapons with the Russians




Finally as a true Biafran representing Ojukwu's elite force, I hereby ask Nnamdi Kanu to forfeit PH for Biafra's sake


A piece of land must never divide us at this point in it

If you cede what history says that you own, why would your opponent allow you to own anything?

Well, I'm 100% for a restructured Nigeria where equity, justice and fairness shall prevail irrespective of minority or majority. Irrespective of Fulani, Ndoki or Yoruba. In the event of that being "impossible", I will never support any arrangement that will not define terms and condition for all ethnic nationalities whether Southern Republic, Rivers state Republic, Niger-Delta Republic or Lower Niger Republic.

Meanwhile, the status and nomenclature of Portharcourt as presently known is non-negotiable.

I too don't fancy that city calling itself ugwuocha..though I subscribe to the exchange of the city for some valuable areas.
For example although Opobo is Igbo,I think we should strengthen the kingdom of Jaja by acquiring the lands west and east of the kingdom. Since the Ijaws love PH,the city that Mikhael Okpara built as the Lagos of Eastern Nigeria, its just OK that we exchange PH/igweocha for all of ijawland lying between bonny river and Imo river.
For me,this seaboard(the coastline btwn bonny river and Imo river) is much more important than anything PH can ever be.though this area is inhabited by ijaws,Igbos and Mmoño(obolos),Igbo is a mercantile lingo well understand by people living this area.
For me,PH should be "lost" under appropriate circumstances

You should decide for yourself. Neither the Urhobo, Ijaw and Itsekiri hate each other. The Warri crises was political and it could be traced to the 50s. Misunderstandings may happen but at no time have the Ijaws encroached into the land of the Urhobos. The Igbo may elect to be on their own but the decision of ethnic groups in the South-South whether or not to remain in Nigeria, go our separate ways or form a United Sovereign country is left to us to decide. As South-South, we have come a long way. The now defunct MidWest and Bendel existed in harmony. Old Rivers state was relatively peaceful same with Old Cross-River state. We all recognised our individual ethnic distinction.
