Truckpusher:The African development bank is 50 years old so tell us how old it was at the start of the war? You would have us believe that in one year of the existence of the ADB it provided loans to build up PH ? Not only provided the loans but was able to disburse the loans and the properties completed in less than 2 years? As dubious as that sound it is not impossible but DO YOU HAVE EVIDENCE that anything like this happened. It is hard to believe when one considers that it has not built any more property in Nigeria in the ensuing 45 years after the war? 5 Likes |

TonyeBarcanista: Supported As a true elite soldier of Ojukwu's army , PH is hereby declared a Nigerdeltan city until the Ikwerres take Biafra serious. Please list cities we claim as ours in order that we know and avoid in order to strengthen our bonds. Truckpusher oya list them. |

omonnakoda:Lol, I specifically mentioned that some part of what I wrote was a an undocumented and unofficial first hand account of those who witnessed the oppressive system and the articles attributed to the remote and direct causes of the war which lead to the abandoned property policy and I also mentioned that the policy of abandoned property was deliberate and at the same time to compensate the minorities of the eastern region which did not get a fair treatment but was caught up in a war that they didn't bargain for yet you only read half of it and made your erroneous conclusion. I doubt you even opened that link, one of those links will take you rigorous hour of study to digest as references were given to enable get the message. But you didn't read it at all. 1 Like 1 Share |

TonyeBarcanista: Proud of his ancestry? I have followed all the arguments here without a comment save this? For me everyone is entitled to hold an opinion no matter how much useless or outright folly such opinions may exhibit. And in such a discuss as this it behooves on commenters to identify themselves so as to know exactly who they claim to represent. The yorubas, edos, sobos and so who have nothing whatsoever to do with Biafra but spend every of their time searching for Biafra threads to dissuade, abuse and insult people who don't even care about their existence is already known and have become legendary in Nairaland. But those others who come from a supposed Biafra territory should be proud enough to identify their tribe. FYI not all Igbo will support Biafra and so no one should be afraid to say this is who I am and I don't support Biafra. for instance I am Igbo and am from Enugu state and I am in support of a separate state even if it would be made up of enugu state alone or the entire southern Nigeria in an as much as such a country would offer me a better future than Nigeria presently does. And do I care if it's achieved by peace or war? No I don't care so long the indices of winning in a war situation is favorable than it was in 1967 when men lost merely to lack of weapons. And as to whether an Uche says his ancestors are Kanuri? I don't care. Let a dog call himself a goat if that suits him better. Peace to you all. 3 Likes |

Truckpusher: I have gone through the bibliography none of the citations gives any indication about this phantom loan. I did a word search and Port Harcourt does not appear in the article once so what are we talking about. Compensate? Why was there no abandon property issue in Calabar? Was this not part of the Eastern Region? Truth is the article is irrelevant besides if you believe what you are saying provide a QUOTE FROM THE ARTICLE to substantiate it. So you were hoping to put me off with a pile of verbiage hoping i "won't have time to read it". There is such a thing as a a computer learn how to unravel its power and you will be immune to bullshite such as you are now spewing Spare me all these childish sophistry please 5 Likes |

pazienza: It is very difficult to understand the workings of the mind of an average Igbo. A people do not want brotherhood with you, they do not care to be a part of you, are dissociated from you, yet Igbo sleep, dream, eat and literally live Ikwerre. And with every Igbo show of unwanted and unwarranted affection, the Ikwerre tend to watch it with suspicion..and frankly, it is worthy of suspicion. Wether Igbos call it PH, or Ugwuocha or Igweocha, we dont care, we arent bothered..Saying you will give it to Okrika or Ogoni us very laughable..PH had never been the property of Igbos, so saying they will leave it for or give it to, doesnt arise because you cant leave for, or give to someone else what you never had. Go your Biafra alone. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

That you voted for Jonathan was purely your own prerogative and you were not on gunpoint when you voted and it was purely for your own interest - Go figure. Stop using Jonathan to scam the SS ,this issue here is about ethnicity/regional and not political issue - Politics is all about interest and you voted for your interest and not for the love you have for the Niger Delta - GEJ gave you more juicy appointments and made policies to favor your business man that were already big than the present so? 3 Likes 1 Share |

Obiagu1:Look I am not Eboe I am for truth whether it favours Eboes or not . I will always stand on truth. Eboes should learn to do the same and not pick and choose only those facts that favour them Nnamdi Kanu is a liar and cannot deliver Biafra take it or leave it. He has told all manner of lies and the wise among the Eboes know this but keep quiet just like they kept quiet under Ojukwu. Two lies do not make a truth He is now telling you to worship on Saturday and you are Jews and Urhobo and Itsekiri are Biafrans. You cannot build anything on falsehood. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Truckpusher: I have repeatedly said that this term Niger- delta is very irritating. Compare what this idio.t Truckpusher wrote with excerpt from Wikipedia. The Niger Delta, as now defined officially by the Nigerian government, extends over about 70,000 km2 (27,000 sq mi) and makes up 7.5% of Nigeria's land mass. Historically and cartographically, it consists of present-day Bayelsa, Delta, and Rivers States. In 2000, however, Obasanjo's regime included Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Cross River State, Edo, Imo and Ondo States in the region. Some 31 million people[2] of more than 40 ethnic groups including the Bini, Efik, Esan, Ibibio, Igbo, Annang, Oron, Ijaw, Itsekiri, Yoruba, Isoko, Urhobo, Ukwuani, and Kalabari, are among the inhabitants in the Niger Delta, speaking about 250 different dialects. |

Truckpusher: You claim to come from Rivers state and you don't know that Egbema (a single community) for example is divided between IMO and Rivers? Apparently, according to your strange theory, the Egbemas in IMO are Igbo while those in Rivers are now non-Igbo. You also don't know that the Ndokis straddle Abia and Rivers states? The Ndokis in Obigbo are non Igbos while the ones in Asa and Azumini are Igbos. You claim to come from Ogba but you don't know that the Ndoni (that you shared an LGA with) are kin with the Ogbarus in Anambra State? Ogbarus are Igbo but the Ndoni are non Igbo. I don't have any problem with anyone claiming to have dropped from Mars but it's better you restrict any ridiculous claims to your own people and stop distorting other people's hard earned identity with ludicrous statements. 7 Likes 2 Shares |
