As the agitation for Biafra gets stronger and the clamour for the release of Radio Biafra director Nnamdi Kanu, some pro-Biafra activists who live abroad have shared videos of themselves tearing their Nigerian passports and denouncing their citizenship while asking for the breakaway of the South-East from Nigeria. They will make a long anti-Nigeria speech and then tear pages from their passports.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Immigration Service has warned that tearing your passport in such a manner is illegal, a crime and attracts a jail term.

I still love my Biafran guys so I would still advice you, don't copy those tearing their passport o, its either the one they tore has been exhausted or they have their uk or us passport nicely kept in a safe place don't try it if you don't have a back up o! My #2cent.

I do understand you perfectly, my opinion is that they are two VERY different scenarios and carry different level of punishments. No basis for comparism at all

They don't have chance to enter Nigeria again. Nigeria Immigration should take note.
