This is notify members of the public that admission into the following programmes are now available at the Federal University of Technology, Akure

1. Computer Engineering
2. Accounting
3. Business Administration
4. Economics
5. Bio-Technology
6. Human Anatomy
7. Physiology

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
Five O/Level credit passes in the required subjects at not more than 2 sittings.

ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who scored a minimum of 180 and above in the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible irrespective of their most preferred choice institution.

MODE OF APPLICATION

Visit the school website www.futa.edu.ng for mode of application.

Visit any bank and pay #4000 (Four Thousand Naira) on E-tranzact platform for post-UTME fee.

CLOSING DATE
The closing date for payment, completion and submission of the application form online is 3rd November, 2015.

Emmm, to all funnab aspirants I bring news, good to some and bad to others, last week which is this week that just passed, the Senate body and admission board of funnab came out to make it know clearly that no ADMISSION LIST has been released by them, the candidates who saw their names on jamb site should get their hopes high already, and those who didn't should WAIT till it comes out on their OFFICIAL ADMISSION SITE!! I think funaab just got some courses in management science accredited this year. So those courses will be accredited anyone graduated from the school.

With the latest riot and protest, there is a possibility that we might not resume this year. RIP to Hon. Maria Atere

Hon. Maria: what happened It is in with an heavy hear that we announce the passing on of Hon. Maria Atere, a 400 level student of PPCP. She was involved in an accident along Ogun-Osun, her bike was hit by a car. She was immediately rushed to a Hospital at camp 'Ideal clinic', the doctor on seeing her condition told the Funaabite that accompanied her that she needed to be taken to Federal Medical center Abeokuta. The Funaabite in turn contacted Funaabsu President who sent the some of the Excos with the Union bus to check on her, while he went to the school's health center to get a referral letter for Hon Maria to be taken to FMC, but the Doctor instead asked that she should brought to the Health center before he can issue any letter. The President explained to him that it was a critical situation and that bringing her to the Health center was going to result in time wastage, the doctor didn't bulge and refused to write the letter. The doctor at Ideal Clinic instead wrote the letter and she was conveyed to FMC with Funaabsu bus, along with Ogun Nans Bus instead of the school's Ambulance. The bus got there within 10mins. She was announced dead moments after she was taken to FMC. An hour later after we had lost Hon. Maria, the school's Ambulance called that they were at camp. It would not have taken the Doctor at the school's health center to write a referral letter and order the school's Ambulance to take her there. The negligence by our University Health center must stop. Greatesr Nigerian studenrs, there's going to a be protest by Funaab student union at the University Gate today by 6am. Please let us all come out en mass. Kindly pass on to other Funaabites

You got it all wrong...there is no riot...just a peaceful protest, meeting has been held, conclusions met, no cause for alarm...that doesnt disturb the academic calendar

However, I sympathize with the close ones of the deceased. May we never have the cause to share condolences anymore! I feel for her. May her gentle soul continue to rest in peace.

Its baseless...If u really understand the admission process u wouldnt have posted it. This is it...When Funaab admission committee compiles the list..they send it to Jamb @Abuja for approval...so the explanation for those that found their name on jamb portal is that jamb has uploaded their copy of the list on its portal..so the delay is with FUNAAB ICTREC. Same thing happened last year and i experienced it in the 2nd batch...it is well

As everything is going on. Funaab is likely to resume within late December and January. Just prepare yourself for her requirements.
