I pray so. It shouldn't be an end to his political road alone, he needs to be but in a political cul-de-sac. You can't kill 90 people cos of an election like wike did and expect God's mercy permeate your soul.

What is happening to Wike now, is exactly what he also fashioned against Amaechi. He set up a kangaroo panel to probe Amaechi, now Tribunal is doing him strong thing. He called Amaechi corrupt, watch as EFCC will come knocking t his door. He sacked Amaechi LG Chairman, he will be sacked soon too.
He should forget about the Law Court, they won't save him this time. He has bragged beyond his cash.

Galadima, do you understand my post at all? I wasn't calling Amaechi Judas in the real sense. I was only quoting his people and some others from the east. They call him 'Judas' because he refused to support GEJ during elections...and surprisingly, that is why many of them still hate him. I am for Amaechi anytime, for as long as they have nothing against him but this.

I had to click on this link to check if this was really a newspaper link.
News outlets are worse than our politicians.
Whenever our democracy has been threatened it has always been the news guys instigating it and when the uniform guys step in they are the first to shout victims.
Why dont we atleast wait and see the outcome of the appeals and if the election finally holds, we all should atleast go to Rivers as observers rather than rant online at the other. I have pledege to fly into Rivers anyday election holds to report personally and take pics and record videos of events at elections. This none of the parties ever did.
Why is everyone more interested in Rivers even more than the Rivers people? Not even any of the news has gone to atleast 5 of the 23 local governments to interview anyone on the street. Then I remember news in Nigeria has a prize, every agency of government and business is blackmailed, and you must surrender envelops at month end or they start to write negative stories about you, no staff can even leak any information and live to tell.
The painful part is the youth are online threatening the other over something as election in Rivers state,am not happy at all.This is insane

This one na long story. The simple fact is that this is a political battle and wike is in a disadvantaged position. I think his big mouth landed him in this trouble. He should have kept quiet and laid low just like the others. And maybe the stronger powers would ve ignored him

SS and Rivers PPl should see above their nose, Northerners are using AMAECHI as a bet to take over Rivers treasure and also looking at Akwa Ibom treasure, they cant do that in Lagos because Yorubas are wise but a foolish blacksheep like Amaechi is a willing tool but I bet it they will destroy him just like Issac Boro and Saro wiwa.
