Where are our Muslim brothers?I await their response.

The biase mods of this forum will not think about getting this out to the view of the world.
The word "Muhammad" in the Bible (in Original Hebrew)

The name "Muhammad" is written in the Bible in the original Hebrew language.

In the 5th chapter of the Shir haShirim ( שיר השירים ), which is one of the five megilot or Sacred Scrolls that are part of the Hebrew Bible or for short the "Song of Solomon" (also called "Song of Songs"wink. That chapter is giving a prophecy about an individual to come, a mystery man.

Song of Songs 5:15 compares this prophetic mystery man to the land of "Lebanon" which is the land of the Arabs. This implies that the mystery man would be an Arab.

Verse 15 of the NIV Bible says: “His appearance is like Lebanon", so this is an Arabic gentleman (or Arab looking).

Verse 11 says: "his head is as the most fine gold, his locks are
wavy, and black as a raven". Verse 10 describes this man as being "radiant and ruddy" which means he was slightly light-skinned with a rosy color. This physical description matches exactly with the authentic Islamic sources.
Sahih Al Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 747, says Muhammad was slightly light skinned, with a rosy color (and has the same hair as is mentioned in verse 11)

Song of Songs 5:10 says: "My beloved is white and ruddy, pre-eminent above ten thousand." This is a prophecy of Prophet Muhammad as he conquered Mecca. It is a well known historically documented fact that in the year 630 CE Muhammad entered Mecca as the leader of an army of "ten thousand men".

In reading the English translation of Song of Songs 5:16 it finishes the description by saying: "He is altogether lovely" but what most people don't know is that the name of that man was given in the original megilot. Here is the name written in ancient Hebrew as it appears in verse sixteen: מחמד . It is read as : "Mahammad".

Hebrew: חִכּוֹ, מַמְתַקִּים, וְכֻלּוֹ, מַחֲמַדִּים; זֶה דוֹדִי וְזֶה רֵעִי, בְּנוֹת יְרוּשָׁלִָם.

English: His mouth is most sweet; yea, he is ALTOGETHER LOVELY. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

There is a plural used together with this Hebrew word, with
the plural it’s pronounced “Mahamadd-im”. The ending letters 'im' is a plural of respect, majesty and grandeur for God’s prophet, just as in the word Eloh-im.

According to Ben Yehuda's Hebrew-English Dictionary, it is correctly pronounced as "Mahammad".

If you don't believe me, go to these translator links, paste the name מחמד and then translate it into English. You will see that מחמד is translated as "Muhammad".

Hey yazach.. I usually refrain from explaining the Old testament stories to u muslims... Rilwayne001 doesnt get it so I didnt bother replying him..

Anyway a few minutes I have spent looking at the talking donkey verse has already revealed that the prophet was disobedient...the donkey didnt talk on its own....it was made to talk for a reason.....

Can God do the impossible to humble a man..yes..
He parted the red see through mose..he can make any animal talk including making a donkey fly..and flooding the earth...

But here is the difference...

1. mohammed was the only withness to his flying donkey...the verse of the talking donkey had 2 other people at withnesses..

2. the donkey talked to humble the disobedient prophet... mohammed flew on the weird donkey like creature for what reason?? ? To show he is a prophet to which witnesses...
EVERY miracle I come across in the bible serves a purpose...

Moses parted the red sea to save the Jews.. mohammed in the fabricated hadith parted the moon for fun..

Jesus healed people and they rejoiced and fell at his feet , mohammed told people to drink camel piss..they drank it, went mad and killed his camels and mohammed brutally killed them...

Their is no purpose to any seemly great thing mohammed did..

The flying donkey story is a figment of mohammed s imagination.

A Muslim would laugh at anyone who asserts Perseus rode a flying horse but Muhammed rode one? then it is true .. "God is great" …lol.. grin..

Imagine the absurdity in such belief. . . If one honestly believe someone rode a flying horse then why cant that person believe Perseus did or the dishonesty in belief stipulates one should cherry pick which myth to believe?

That's why i always say: "If something needs to be believed against reason by faith then there is no reason to believe it at all..."

Our muslim brothers, Do you honestly believe Muhammed rode a flying horse, if yes can you provide us independent empirical substantiation to back up your claim...??

Many of us here are very familiar with flying animals in antiquity or animals depicted to possess wings like birds.

The most popular of these stories is the story of Pegasus the flying Horse of Perseus son of the God Zeus in classical Greek antiquity.

we have all seen the movie depictions and many of us here won't deny having fantasized about riding such animal grin that has nothing to show that is not anymore than mere mythological fictional work of antiquity.

We also have the winged bulls of Babylonian mythology and then remarkably one so near is the tale of Muhammed (Founder of Islam) riding similar animal.

I am intrigued at this claim of Muhammed riding something similar to a flying horse named Buraq.

Then a white animal which was smaller than a mule and bigger than a donkey was brought to me. ... The animal's step (was so wide that it) reached the farthest point within the reach of the animal's sight.

—  Muhammad al-Bukhari , Sahih al-Bukhari

Then he [Gabriel] brought the Buraq, handsome-faced and bridled, a tall, white beast, bigger than the donkey but smaller than the mule. He could place his hooves at the farthest boundary of his gaze. He had long ears. Whenever he faced a mountain his hind legs would extend, and whenever he went downhill his front legs
would extend. He had two wings on his thighs which lent strength to his legs.

He bucked when Muhammad came to mount him. The angel Jibril (Gabriel ) put his hand on his mane and said: "Are you not ashamed, O Buraq? By Allah , no-one has ridden you in all creation more dear to Allah than he is." Hearing this he was so ashamed that he sweated until he became soaked, and he stood still so that the Prophet mounted him

According to these narratives God through Gabriel gave Muhammed one of his flying horse-like animals to ride to Jerusalem. . And muhammed was the ever first to ride such.

I find it intriguing that the classical story of Perseus which predates muhammed story by thousands of years. God (zeus) also gave Perseus a flying horse named Pegasus and Perseus became the only person to have ridden such.

These two stories quite similar in their claim of flying horse-like animals being ridden, what fascinates me is that people actually believe Muhammed really rode such an animal even though such has never been substantiated to be anymore than fictious mythical construct.

It reveals the dishonesty in Faith... Someone could believe such unsubstantiated outrageous assertion by faith against all reason.

You could have ignored him. They should creat another tread if they want to discuss the bible . Just to avoid diverting this thread like some are already doing with @parisbookaddict.
