The Abia state nominee is a class act. Pure intelligence. The sort of technocrat that should populate the nominee roll. Nice choice.

Brilliant question on TSA! You contract TSA management to private firm for 1% of collected revenue amounting to 50B, meanwhile the total budget of ministry of finance is 10B!!! I'm awaiting his answer.

This is the crap that was engineered in Lagos state for reasons best known to some.

I'm sure the "enabling environment" will lead to Amaechi's confirmation.

It seems BuhAri wants to use the prolific Ndigbo to build Nigerian at the expences of the Dull blind Biafrans

He is an accountant and medical doctor...

IMO, he should be a minister of finance and Mrs. Kemi Adeosun to be minister of state wink

This man will make a good minister of Enabling environment.

Kemi Adeosun has been tested too. In fact, she was the one who engineered the TSA idea. It was started in Ogun state where she was Commissioner 0f Finance.

The broad role of TSA is to harmonise accounts this is done in most private organisations in Nigeria.

The responsibility of managing the economy is beyond harmonisation of payment accounts.

- distribution
- improvements
- etc

I am a bit worried of the theoretical nature of his answers.

The responses does not relate closely with the Nigerian-context.

His responses are dodgy and he appears like one who needs time to study the working of the inner government.

Do we need someone who needs time to settle before charting the path forward?

We need people who make good long term decisions for the country, better to take your time to ponder and make good informed decisions that rush and make poor decisions because you havent had time to understand and consider the facts
Re: Senate Conducts Last Lap Of Ministerial Screening - Live Update by Nobody: 1:29pm On Oct 28, 2015
On a lighter note; why do Igbo nominees attend the session in sharp tailored suits while most others from other ethnic groups wear native attires? At least Dr. Kachikwu of Delta; Enugu, Abia and Imo nominees wore suits.

Take a look at NNPC and see that you don't need the time in the world to reform any sector in any economy.
I know that if he is appointed as min of finance, he would be tele-guided by the PMB. Is that what we need?
In my honest opinion, we need someone to hit the ground running in November when portfolios would have been shared.
We need to close all gaps.
