I read with great joys that the Report of the 2014 National Confab of has been rejected by the Norther Leaders. Stake holders in Nigeria who were not blinded by emotions during the heat up of the confab can recall that the North (Islamic North), castigated the confab because they were not in charge of it. One of their own even threatened that his people will pull out of Nigeria and join his kindreds in Cameroun. Well, the confab went ahead and the North "lost" much ground. This report if implemented will weaken the centre. A situation the North does not want to hear. Jonathan was myopic. He thought he could fix Nigeria. He thought he could bring some change. He thought he is a magician or a super man who can mix oil and water. I keep asking, what do we have in common with the Muhammadan emirates of the North? The north owns Nigeria! The north has spoken and it is binding to us all. The rest are slaves! The north has rejected the confab report and that is the end of it all. It was also the north that rejected the Aburi accord and that was the end it. Assuming it is the South East that rejected the confab report will it be the end? If it is the South West or the Niger Delta that rejected the report, will it make any difference. OBJ called for a constitutional conference, towards the end, Niger Delta walked out. The dinner went on as if northing happened. When the North barks, Nigeria quake. I hail the north. Bravo! However, let me state clearly that the days of ignorance and fear are over. We, the peoples of the Biafra want out of this fraud. The rejection of the report is good for our course. That is why hail the North for the rejection. A big Thumbs UP to able Northern Leaders for living up to our expectations. To those of us who are grounded in the psychology of Nigeria and why her fate belongs to history, the rejection did not come as a surprise. Cheers to you all. |

foxe:Are we? Well, Nigeria gathered. Discussed. Agreed. The north has rejected it. What a way to be "ONE". |

Hmm! Thumbs up to the north though. Maybe the next confab shall be implemented in the sharia republic of Arewa. |

merry02:The real north has rejected the report. There is nothing the entire south plus the middle belt can do about it. |

Brother i understand your frustration, the North will always have there way.. It is very funny that everyone appears ignorant of this development. Well when you have a black man who only understand "OUR OYEL" as the sole configuration in his empty brain behind you and another who is highly predictive beside you, You can only hope to achieve very little or nothing. |

The Nigerian situation is the same as the case of three brothers; the eldest being useless, dominating and wasting the family's resources and never wanting the other brothers to have a share or make decisions on the resources will be used. |

Observant:In their great "wisdom", they are fooled. The great North is holding them at the jugular bone. Didn't Buhari to promise to implement the confab report? I refuse to fooled. I am so glad to belong to 5%. |

Emekamex:You lie bro. hahahaha. Dont mind my choice of words. Just kidding. It is not the case of brothers. it is the case of strangers forced to cohabit. We the peoples of great Biafra, have nothing, absolutely nothing in common with the Arabian wannabes up North. The Odua nation seems to be in love with them though. |

merry02:“This New Nation called Nigeria, should be an estate of our great grandfather, Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the North as willing tools, and the South, as conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us, and never allow them to have control over their future” – Sir Ahmadu Bello (Sardauna of Sokoto and Premier of Northern Region in The Parrot of October 12, 1960 |

This is why I laugh at those who blame the Igbo's for not voting for buhari enmass. Unfortunately, the same people call themselves "sophisticated". The truth is that Igbo's are the only ones that understand the north and can predict their next move correctly. Igbo's knew that buhari is a bigot and will not carry everybody along. They also knew that the confab report will be dumped in the bin should a northerner become president. We predicted all that and that is why we didn't vote for buhari. Not that we hate the north like some people are saying. Some "sophisticated" guys didn't see all that. |

pussyphilia:I can see the drama of 2019 from here. If Nigeria remains in 2019 and Buhari cannot continue. The north will come together again and present a northern candidate for APC. If the South West succeeds in getting the APC ticket, then the North will go back to the PDP in drove. The South East and South South will be mocking the south west. They will support the Northern candidate in the PDP. Members of the APC in the north will vote for the PDP northern candidate. The south are morons. As for me I love being 5%. Even if it is 0.5%, I go still dey kamkpe. |

I never took the confab cause I knew it will never be implemented when the north stands to lose, am not surprised. |
| Re: Rejection Of 2014 Confab Report: Thumbs Up For Northern Leaders by pussyphilia(m): 8:07pm On Oct 29, 2015 |
noblezone:Exactly! So long as the south remains divided the north will continue to have their way in Nigerian politics. |

pussyphilia:Yoruba is "wise", Igbo is "wise", Ijaw is "wise". That is why they can't work together. The might of the north is nothing but a myth. Her strength is fed by the "wisdom" in the South. Am I calling for a Southern Unity? Noooo, I don't some dangerous e-venoms poured on me tonight. |

noblezone:The bolded above is sadly the undisputable reality of this unholy alliance mischievously, dubbed a United (sic!) country. This is why I just smile to myself when I see a certain section of the country pointing at another section as "aboki slaves" when in actual fact we all have been under the thumbnail of the same region who shamelessly admitted to not been ready to rule themselves when the concept of self rule was first raised in 1953 but somehow was placed at the helm of our new nation, barely a decade later. Yet, we wonder why the country hasn't progressed ever since attaining her independence. |

The yorubas always want to play d role of a servant and they say they are educated, if they come to thier senses, this country will disintegrate and everybody will hav its republic |

| Re: Rejection Of 2014 Confab Report: Thumbs Up For Northern Leaders by Nobody: 8:32pm On Oct 29, 2015 |
front247:It is not just the south west bro. It is the whole south. We are too "wise" and that is why the North is playing the game better. I wont be surprised if Sambo (Jonathan's deputy) voted for Buhari. The greatest opposition to Jonathan did not really come from the North! it came from the South: South South, South East and South West. Let us be truthful to ourselves: if the South West is the problem, are the South East and the South South singing the same tune ![]() |

| Re: Rejection Of 2014 Confab Report: Thumbs Up For Northern Leaders by Nobody: 8:38pm On Oct 29, 2015 |
front247:I see it differently. It is not because they want to play servant roles. It is rather consequences of mistrust in the South. If working together will elevate the Yoruba, the Igbo will support Hausa-Fulani. If working together will elevate the Igbo, the Yoruba will support the Hausa-Fulani. In order to undo each other, they end up serving the North. |

DelticStephEn:I prefer "losing" my kith and kin Ijaw than the current system where a man from Katsina will decide who rules Bayelsa. Besides, Ijaw is my kith and kin, though some of them have said no. |
