Go to the hospital please, let them carry out a test to know the concentration of bilirubin then they will carry out the nevessary treatment. Preferably a teaching hospital. It is well with your baby in Jesus name. drekings: 3 Likes |

Mitl:Breast abscess is a infection of the breast tissue.( either from blocked milk ducts or bacterial entering the Breast). It's usually as a result of mastitis ( swelling of the breast). I've had mastitis twice since I gave birth and both times It went on its own after a few days but I had to take Tylenol for the pain. Pls see your Dr, you'll might be given antibiotics for it or have it drained if it doesn't get better... cc: kaffy4bill |

Mitl: Hi The breast abscess can be easily drained. If FNAC is suggested....then maybe they really want to know the cause of the breast abscess. Do it quickly please. In FNAC, a sample of the breast tissue/ the fluid is taken....(a biopsy). Its not much to fret about. Just to be sure of the cause. |

@ Rezzy.... Dont feel sad or incompetent. Kids find ways to make you feel you arent giving your best. Your husband was just lashing out at you. Dont take it personal. Your baby needs no drugs unless from the Dr as long as he feeds well and is healthy. Small story_ There was a time I was in the shop attending to a customer, before I knew it, my very active son crawled out, passed beneath a very large table and fell into the very murky gutter. I was very fast in lifting him out, cleaned him up but when my husband came and heard, he said " All you ever do is press phone, that was how you didnt know when he fell". I felt so inept on that day..... 4 Likes |

And pls if you go there, don't give the staff unnecessary bribe. They are covetous. May God protect our Los. It's well, don't panic. 6 Likes |

rezzy:Which one is daily drugs? Is your child sick? why would u need to give a child drugs just like that? Kai infact am so angry. Who told him the baby needs daily drugs? Pls encourage ur husb to speak to a pediatrician, encourage him to read. Or he should join ask the pediatrician group and ask questions. If ur baby is feeding well he doesn't need multivitamins 2 Likes |

My baby is 10days old. It feels good to be a mum. He's my first. My breast didn't flow by first 2days and he was hungry so I gave him glucose water but I used feeding bottle instead of spoon and cup! My big mistake . The hunger continued nd I couldn't bear it so I gave him NAN (bottle again). Now that breast is flowing, he sucks but still feels hungry for NAN. Only NAN satisfies him! I feel bad. What do I do to make him stop NAN and suck breast only and be satisfied? 1 Like |

Sabi mums....I greet you and yours loyally. Am a FTM and my LO is 10days old. I had him via a C-section so I couldn't breastfeed him for like 2days, had to resort to NAN 1 to feed him and given the fact that I don't eat well enough (placed on light foodies like pepper soup and all that) breast milk isn't flowing really well like it should though I still breastfeed and support with NAN 1. My issue is I feel am not taking proper care of his feeding utensils like I should do. I want to care properly for anything that goes into his mouth. Please how do I do that? I don't have a sterilizing set, is there a way I can improvise one? Teach me please. Thank you. |

lamdec:in addition please measure d litres of d bucket. one tablet is for 5litres. my own small bucket is around 3litres so I fill with 2.5l n use half a tab. since ur baby is still small u can adhere to the twenty four hours daily instruction. that gives maximum protection. but as he builds more immunity u can increase d number of days to max of a week o. (if interested in cutting costs. but make sure ur baby s around that six months to be sure he has some immunity before thinking along this line o) |

mytestimony: Thank you my sis. I think mothers should be careful with all these drugs . My baby is 7months and yet to have a tooth and people have been asking since 3months ago which teething medicine i 'm using. One woman is so committed to it that she is annoyed now that i have not started using the brand she recommended. My dh was laughing the other day saying if his baby had started teething drug from four months and now no tooth, so it wld hv been 3 months of medication for nothing. Pls no matter the pressure lets not give our babies drugs anyhow. Just think " how does body get rid of those compounds in the drug" Even as adult dont take drugs unnecessarily. Sorry for my long epistle just that i see and hear these things everyday and it got me worried. 7 Likes |
