Find out what distracts him and avoid it. My son gets distracted if I nurse him in a noisy environment and TV room. For the weight loss, it happened to my LO when I resumed work but he picked up immediately. If there's been no change in his schedule, I think you should see a paediatrician.

@ Mgeey, dats what I do now I take him away from any distraction while he is sucking. Though i read it up on google DAT at some point breastfeeding babies tend to drop a little bit in thier weight then add up again through addition of formula to d breast milk, me I want to do EBF for him till he's six months. We'll see a pead sha in our next appointment.
Thanks dear for prompt response. Kisses to ur LO.

the main reason I think pple discourage walkers is cos ur baby is so mobile n can lead to accidents so u really have to watch your baby well n d environment. but personally I think its OK. my baby enjoys his time in it. though they need to be carried out from time to time n allowed to play on d floor etc too.

for best walker I generally think u should get one made from very thick rubber.usually comes packaged in the big carton. not those cheap light ones cos those can break easily.
since your baby is on d big side you should Aldo check for the weight specs of the walker

Thanks a lot ma'am.

I don't know your gestation age but the earlier the gestational age, the more the foetus is prone to the harmful effects of anything ingested by the mother.
As a rule of thumb, I don't advice pregnant mothers to ingest anything prepared with herbs or herbal derivatives.
When you deliver, you can drink all the zobo + moringa that you want

For the breast engorgement continue to breastfeed your LO and apply warm compress before each feed...I understand you pain with the nipples thingy, the key is ensuring that your nipple and a good portion of the areola enters the baby's mouth.
It's what worked for me and over time I noticed nipples came out (at least they were better than before)
Other sabi mamas go help.

What helped me was, taking a hot bath,or using a hot towel, wrap it round both breast, leave them 4 a while and then express some milk out. Am guessing u know how 2 hand-express already. Or u could just hand-express some milk out while in d shower, its faster. But if engorgement still continues, see ur gynea. Hope it helps. smiley as for the latching,u may be the one not positioning him well,i made that mistake until i was corrected.

Morning beautiful mothers,

Please is it safe to add ovaltine to baby cereals (he is 9months). My son takes the cereal well anytime i add ovaltine to it.

Just want to confirm before i continue with this habit.

Thanks.

I've heard that breastfeeding keeps the weight down. Don't know if stopping also helps. But you can focus fully on a diet or healthier meal options and exercise from now that you aren't breastfeeding if you get me!
As per midnight feeding, many children do it out of habit and not necessarily hunger. You can ensure the baby is well fed last thing at night and start giving milk and then water only during the night.
The length of the phase will be determined by as long as you allow. I've heard of toddlers waking up to eat overnight, so if you aint enjoying it you berra work at stopping it asap!

If he likes it maybe you can continue to add it in moderate quantity. I'm not sure how sugary it is though but i don't see it doing any harm actually!
