Everyday I bless God for this man called Buhari! Finally we have a govt that thinks outside the box!!!

God bless PMB!!!!
Your heaad no korrect, Olodo, you are thanking God and blessing a man that have shed a lot of innocent blood to ascend to power, 2011 he said that if he lose election that dog and baboon will be soaked in blood and it came pass that many people and innocent NYSC members lost their life because of Buhari, Buhari said that an attack on boko haram is an attack on North, now he is in power and want to quench the monster that he once supported. The blood of the dead will hunt you oo!, God is watching everybody in 5D.

Is he implying that he will have ghost ministers? Ministers without portfolios meaning no offices? Will they be paid?
Re: Buhari: Not All Nominees Will Be Ministers by Nobody: 8:59am On Oct 31, 2015
chukkiephil:
look maybe you don't have or know the information I have, but believe me Nigeria makes enough and with our resources, fall in oil price should not shake our economy at all, all he needs to do is to plug the leakages in government like ghost workers, reduce and merge government agencies/parastatals , work on other sectors!!! So far he has not shown us his economic blue print and if he feels he inherited a broke and massively looted treasury obviously someone has to answer or account for it!!! But he has done none instead he keeps lamenting!!! Looking for sympathy, he doesn't know that he is killing our moral!! He should get to work and give us something tangible to have hope on not crying over spilled milk like a baby!!
Yes, he needs to fight corruption. I agree fully.

But Nigeria is not a rich country. We produce less oil than the United Arab Emirates.....and for a higher population (UAE 11milion.Nigeria 170MILLION).

That is why the corruption is bad...they are stealing from a small pot.

I hope this man is not planning to put the 5% as FEC sitting ministers!! I just hope this dullard of a man does not destroy the country even faster than IPOB!! From his statements he only nominated people from all 36 states because the constitution said so else he would have still practised the 97%-5% ratio he had used in previous appointments
grin grin grin Where did you resurrect from? Thought you have deactivated after all those deadly blows. OK, what's your take on Amaechi's confirmation viz a viz your benefactor's betrayal of your party's treacherous cause?

my brother I don't know if you know that we have other resources?? And we have the most important one called population?? Nigeria is a very rich country if well managed!! And so far I don't think we have a serious government!! He will keep on beating about the bush 4years of our lives will come and go!!! angry

African leaders and their lack of vision.

How can they go to a developing country like them to seek funds or support?

India is a third world country like Nigeria with less resources then the formal.

They all dressed in India wears expect for mugabe what a SHAME.

I'm very happy with your comment. If everybody understands u and everything u do,then u are very "ORDINARY". Jesus christ even said it and likened a man that is born of the spirit like "a wind". U can't understand where the wind is coming from neither where it is going to. We have seen many cases where weather predictions were absolutely wrong!. The summary of this all is that President Buhari has a big and great plan for Nigeria. Simple!!!
What great plain with all this corrupt ministers. Nigeria will face another economic hardship in the next four years. I thought buhari will ignor Tinubu, obasanjo and all those corrupt leaders on his choice of ministers

I know you are a frustrated demented wailer with nothing positive to offer but complaints and insults.
You are part of the problem of this country and the earlier you change your ways the better for your miserable existence!

PMB is the best thing that has happened to Nigeria in a long time. If you dont agree, go and jump in the lagoon! grin

Amaechi could be one of them.

He is too corrupt to be a minister.
If Amaechi becomes a minister, then the fight against corruption of this administration would be a joke.
SAME GOES FOR AUDU OGBEH, OGBONNAYA ONU AND THEIR LIKES. FIGHTING CORRUPTION WITH PEOPLE LIKE THEM IS SIMILAR TO QUENCHING FIRE WITH FUEL.

Was Buhari in Nigeria or India when his ministerial nominees were completely confirmed?
Re: Buhari: Not All Nominees Will Be Ministers by bjdon: 9:11am On Oct 31, 2015
Well well, where do I start?

Let's start with a question. Can you imagine the leader of any major nation like The US, UK, India, Russia...etc, going to a foriegn country and there announcing that his country is broke and will not be able to even pay all the ministers as stipulated by the constituion? How on earth is that supposed to inspire confidence in the country?

The constiution is quite clear, MINISTERS should be appointed from every state of the country. With this new approach Buhari can populate the FEC with people from every state, but when it comes to the substantive ministers, he'll apply his usual biased approach and once again it'll be dominated by Northerners.
Re: Buhari: Not All Nominees Will Be Ministers by Achorise: 9:11am On Oct 31, 2015
Mr president should understand he's the image maker of the country as wel as the brand of this country, such information should be concealed and not make public, mostly among international communities.

Re: Buhari: Not All Nominees Will Be Ministers by kinibigdeal(m): 9:13am On Oct 31, 2015
He already called them Noise makers, am not surprise. That shouldn't be an excuse, Buhari alread have some groups of trusted Northerners running the country for him, or do you think for good five month, no one is working for him, some of them is Ex-Rufai, he only nominate them for "just federal character" as one of my role model use to say "Fayose and that is the problem. If you think you already have some Northern team working for you and they are all dull, how wouldn't our economy be under threat? I wonder how kashikwu cannot be the petroleum minister with is impressive CV! Buhari is driving this nation toward Anarchy, exactly what destroy the economy of Argentina in 1973

Talking of budgets, how come 27 states were found wanting doesn't that mean the administrators of those states are not judicious in their spending?

segend:
Can't the constitution be amended to have 3 or 4 ministers from each zone making 18 or 24 ministers. That's better than have some one as a sitting minister without a portfolio. I will feel insulted if I was made such, will rather not be in the FEC. And besides, is it not waste of money to be paying someone that isn't really working.
Its also in the constitution that a citizen can sponsor a bill for amendment of the constitution. Its a nice observation!

Re: Buhari: Not All Nominees Will Be Ministers by Ghandi12: 9:19am On Oct 31, 2015
This decision is being premised, only, on paucity of fund, particularly, to finance ministers' emoluments. However, there are a number of more acceptable means of achieving all desired aims without having to break banks.

^ Many of the Ministerial nominees are already financially/materially successful and are driven by service in accepting the nomination. Many of them are philanthropists and would not have any problem serving their fatherland with minimal or no financial gratification. The President will be surprised that many of them will volunteer to work-for-free if given convincing reasons.

^ In addition this crop of nominees does not appear to need all the lavish accoutrements, currently, attached to the Office of a Federal Minister: The nominees have cars already and will not need 5-15 official cars: Most of them have private residence in Abuja already and may choose to fore-go housing proviso in their contract: Most of them are responsible with happy families so their feeding may not be a public concern.

Not using all the nominees or a graduated use may result in another round of ethnic/tribal strives. The Federal Government should focus more of driving the economy and eschew avoidable distractions.

We should avail ourselves the services of all these successful Nigerians. Neither the President nor the Vice can be everywhere at all time; we need selfless Lieutenants to uphold and implement Federal government policies.
