Barcanista is a threat to Ijaw interest. NO sane Ijaw person should even remotely support any ideas peddled by this unstable character.

Just imagine, it isn't even up to ONE year since Jonathan was kicked out of office by the owners of Nigeria, this guy is here talking about some phantom "resource control". In Nigeria

Apparently this Barcanista guy can't even think.
Why do you think Jonathan was kicked out?
He was simply kicked out because he was thinking about implementing the confab recommendations. Simple.
Mind you the Ohanaeze submitted a recommendation that would have seen every GEOPOLITICAL zone control its resources (which I did not support because SE is NOT equal to Igboland), but even that is too much for the North. Now imagine some resource control happening under a Buhari presidency. I even think that the North is planning to reverse the sharing formula to reflect the population distribution of Nigeria. Something they consider fair.

I just checked Buhari's list of ministers, and guess what, BOTH DEFENCE MINISTERS (senior and junior ) are CORE Northerners.
The handwriting should be clearly on the wall for hubristic "resource control" agitators.

Jonathan's 2011 presidency happened because Igbo wanted to make a statement, and they made it loudly that even the deaf and dumb in the non-Igbo east will hear. We have moved past that now.
The Nigeria of the future will not play out like the one of the past.

I repeat, Barcanista is a BIG threat to IJAW interest.

I will pop a Champagne when that "resource control" happens. For now, it is only fair to caution Ijaw about what some mentally unbalanced guy is doing here on their behalf.

Enough words for the wise.

If you at least THINK about the situation of things in Nigeria, you will understand.
The Barcanista guy is out of touch with TIME.
He is talking as if this is 2007 when Nigerians still felt like they owed Ijaw something.
Whatever Nigerians thought that they owed Ijaw has been PAID with Jonathan.
Nigeria owes Ijaw NOTHING now.

Resource control hahahah cheesy

Re: Barcanista Is A Threat To Ijaw Interest by carnegiefan: 3:22pm On Nov 01, 2015
Let me contrast with Yoruba (though Yoruba being a majority tribe the comparison may be unfair, but still the comparison is even more apt because Yoruba can speak with one voice, while "SS" can NEVER); when Yoruba felt that OBJ wasted their "8 year turn", they quickly restrategized and moved en masse to VP a northern candidate. The result is the Buhari presidency with a Yoruba VP.
The Igbo chose not to do same because we wanted to drive home a point. Fine.
Can the Ijaw EVER get back to power again in Nigeria without Igbo support? In whose dream can that happen?
Even the "SS" could not give Jonathan a block vote in 2015.

Anyway, the warning has gone out.
If you are Ijaw and you don't dissociate from the Barcanista lunacy, he will seal your collective fate in Nigeria.

I support true resource control; the type that can actually happen. And NO I'm not afraid of saying so...
Barcanista thinks that the only way for his Ijaw to grow, they have to swallow their bigger (and far more powerful) neighbor -Ndigbo.
Failure is assured with such mindset.

Please throw more light on the "far more powerful" part. Is it in terms of arms and munition, financial base, military might, infrastructural development, per capita income, welfare programs?

We need be sure of the parameters that helped you arrive at this conclusion.

"All of the above" is a blanket statement
We need specifics. For example, what is the per capita income of the average easterner/ Igbo and the research link? Is there a different regional army for the Igbo and their approximate number with research links, not Wikipedia. Give specific info

If you think this thread is about measuring di..ciks with anybody, you are grossly mistaken.
If I were Ijaw, I would be calling Barcanista to stop his schemes here because he is making Ijaw people appear treacherous.
That is what this thread is about.

The question is simple enough, its not about what I think but the statement you made that Igbos are more powerful and you providing the indices that support your statement
