A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO MY ABLE BROTHERS FOR PUTTING THESE PETTY THIEVES IN THEIR PLACE.we focused too much on the external aggressors for too long, taking for granted these criminals nipping away at our territories and deliberately distorting the history of our people.
Ijaws, our eyes are on you guys now.No more igboland for you to steal.we are gonna put a permanent stop to your expansionist tendencies.
I cringe any time i recall how easily we could've gone into alliance with these snake.Thank God it never happened.

Dakuku peterside is not an igbo man oooh! I just saw this on their page! That guy is claiming ijaw.. but I have noticed how the ijaw are trying to emasculate the ndoki, the abuse them and threaten them to renounce their igbo they Ndoki will be telling them that they are not igbo but Ndoki. I was reading an argument in one of their groups,
What I found is that ijaw are very vocal, while the ndoki and nkoro are voiceless, they (ijaw) plunge everyone together and name themselves ijaw, if you identify yourself as ndoki, they will attack you! Hmmmm
I'm more than convinced that ijaw are truly arming themselves to achieve a sinister move I challenge barcanista to dispute this fact!
1they want igbo language dropped
They mant to de igbonise opobo, especially on ndoki people,
They want to start speaking Ibani language! Hence they are doing all they can to achieve this....
Now it's left for ndoki in abia and Imo to come together and unite their brothers and sisters in rivers and akwaibom! And form a formidable ethnic unit to have a voice! Just like Anioma. Ndoki people should wake up or their identity will die.

soulpeppersoup: Have you ever heard of Arochukwu local government? Two towns I know there have boundary with the Mediterranean sea. So I don't know why uninformed people go online to talk what they don't know.

Many of them think Igbo end with with a few town they know. I don't blame them, I blame the government that has neglected to develop some of these places.

We are talking about the cement factory dangote is going for at isu, but many don't know it is because of the sea route that is attracting him not the lime deposits.
Did you ever attend any geography classes? If not please do? West Africa doesn't have access to the Mediterranean sea!
Please do go back to school and stop displaying your ignorance on a public forum!
Thanks

Puhahahaha grin... Mediterranean gini? Later these trolls will start claiming they are the most learned in Nigeria...smh. I see you don't have d slightest clue of where the Mediterranean is. Mediterranean Sea is the sea that separates southern Europe from North Africa.

The only ocean naija has access to is the Atlantic. Well, maybe there's an igbo city named Arochukwu in North Africa sha.

Be informed am not a net warrior. Since I made a mistake with the ocean and u made correction thanks. But correcting me with such taboo of a word says much about your upbring and your environment. You may not be able to change the former but don't let your children experience the later

Silly. Jaja didn't see himself as an Igbo man, and you think it was a coincidence that he subtly created an Igbo speaking Opobo to send a message to future generations.
I know you Ijaws have weird theories on how Opobo ended up Igbo speaking today. The fact that Jaja an Igbo man played a fast one on your Ijaw people is an angle you won't accept.
Of course Jajas had to blend into Ijaw ways to maintain Peace and stability in the place, but it would be silly of you to believe that Jaja never considered himself an Igbo, if he didn't, why do you think he retained his connection with Amaigbo his home town, and never stopped telling everyone he came from there.

Igbos sold in far away places in New world did all they could to retain their Igbo identity, but in your Ijawtic mind, an Igboman sold into Ijawland just close to Igboland suddenly stopped seeing himself as Igbo.

Kam nukwa!
Exactly, these people are devils. Ask him if a Yoruba man can turn into an Igbo man. They do this out of hatred. King Jaja's history is well documented that he is an Igbo man.

highest level of show of shame that you ask such. If opobo is an igboland why is their king called "Amayanabo" and NOT igwe . if opobo is igboland why is their traditional attire d workur/otibo and not you attire. if opobo is igboland why is their marriage attire d "obvious" Ijaw attire and not your igbo dressing. if opobo is an igboland what is d meaning of (OPOBO) is it an Ijaw word or igbo. what is d name of jaja when he was caught/bought from aruchukwu as a slave by chief Banigo, why was he renamed "juwo juwo" who translated juwo juwo to d now jaja. why was he smuggled out at night from Bonny (which is due to the nature of greed). what d names of d 3 Bonny Chiefs that took him to the un-inhabited part of Bonny land(present opobo). ogobo is igboland why is their local dialect ibani(seem you believe opobo is igboland just because they speak igbo just like their brothers, we d Bonny. same reason some expansionist claim our land.
We refer to our traditional rulers also as amayanabo. #fact. #igbo

Excerpts:

The President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Rivers State Prince Igo Okparamma, in an interview with odenigbo.com stated that “We, the Igbo of Rivers state have made a loud statement, and it is our belief that from now it is clear to all concerned that we are no longer in doubt of where our true roots are… we are Igbo and this is without doubt.
In a shocking revelation, the member representing Opobo-Nkoro Federal constituency Hon. Dakuku Peterside declared that the Opobo people have their roots in Igboland as the founder and first king of the Kingdom is an Igbo man. Hence Opobos are Igbo. He called on other Igbo elements within the state to identify with the greater Igbo cause.
In her vote of thanks, the Chairperson of the Organising Committee of the inauguration, Mrs Uju Nwanneka called on Ndigbo to return to their “Value Driven” efforts and relentlessly stand for justice and equality for all. The aspirant for the post of Deputy National Woman Leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo called on Ndigbo to make Igbo interest their guiding principle in all their pursuits while eschewing individualism.
The occasion which was blessed with heavy shower had in attendance notable Igbo people and friends of Ndigbo who defied the rains to be with Ndigbo. Among the dignitaries at the occasion were Senator Magnus Abe who represented the Rivers state Governor Hon. Rotimi Amechi, Hon Dakuku Peterside (Representing Opobo/Nkoro Federal Constituency) represented by Hon. Richard Nwoka; the former PDP Chairman Ikwerre Local Government Area, Chief Innocent Mbah; Deputy President Ohanaeze Ndigbo Rivers State, Amb. Anosike Onuowa; Vice Chairman Rivers State Petroleum Monitoring Committee.
Others present are the Chief Ambrose Owuru; Member Ime-Obi Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lady Love Chimezie, Odozi Nwodozi: National Vice Leader Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Wing, Arthur Obiora Obiora: Deputy National Leader Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Wing among others.
Ebele also used and dumped your pathetic tribe with the same lines and slogan!

Opobo–Nkoro (also spelled Opobo/Nkoro) is a Local Government Area in Rivers State, Nigeria. It is part of the Andoni/Opobo/nkoro constituency of the Nigerian National Assembly delegation from Rivers. The capital is Opobo Town.[1]

The Opobo–Nkoro people are mainly farmers and fishermen. They are of Igbo extraction. They speak Igbo language. Just like the neighbouring Bonny, founded by Ndokis of Azuogu, slaves from the hinterland transformed the demography of the area when the Transatlantic Slave Trade was abolished. Ijaws who came in as porters also settled there and the Igbo language was adopted. Although, there are no indigenous Ijaw communities there, most Ijaw migrants and porters have fully been integrated into the original indigenous Igbo communities.

Pro-Natura International Nigeria has been assisting in community-led development in the LGA.[2]

If you are talking The Status of Every Ijawland is non-negotiable.I will appriciate that, but please and please stop saying our people and Rivers state;because Rivers state is not Ijawland but parcialy like Igbo and Ogoni as well.

Wow! Have been to Mmahu countless times. The former I.G of Police Mike Okiro is from there. Do you know of Prof. Victor Chukwudi Kogah (one time Imo state NNDC commissioner) and former Dean faculty of Social sciences IMSU is also a proud Mmahu indigene and my Inlaw also. My elder cousin married his younger brother. You have a brother here on this forum who go by the moniker Eastlink. The dude I think is from the Egbema part of Rivers state - a proud Igbo for that matter.
