As much as I appreciate dis info, I hv great reservation abt it. Hv u looked at it d other way round? What happens if d phone wt which u registered d bvn is stolen or enters into a wrong hand of someone who also knows abt dis code? And remember all your accts are linked to d same single bvn!

I think it's just a normal code to check ur BVN like the way you check your credit balance on your mobile phone, nothing to fear. My banker friend sent the code to me to relief me of stress should I urgently need my BVN.
As regards loosing the phone number you used, I may have to confirm that. tnx.
