And in a case of an all out war, what do you think Russia would do, to take away the US' advantage with the ability to deploy troops and weapons, from those bases?

When most of the sanctions are lifted or partially lifted, It will open up Iran to the west and they wont need Russia as much as they do again. Iran and Russia cant even reach an agreement on how to run the Caspian sea.

One more thing, Iran has Oil and gas that will threaten Russian market and the rivalry is already playing out in Armenia and Azerbaijan where they are both fighting for control. They may have few aligning issues but it doesn't mean there is an alliance as for Lebanon, there is no point talking about it since it is an Iranian client state of some sort.

The Pack FA is not deployed yet so why compare it to a plane that is already in service? US bombers have moved have beyond the B1. There is over a dozen B2 and a contract for B3 was awarded few weeks ago. Russia is yet to build a modern strategic bomber but that is not even the point. Russia have closed the air gap in the last decade but their doctrine should tell you they cant compete with USAF hence more investment in sophisticated SAMs.

Shanghai Cooperation Organisation is not a military alliance. Member states are not obligated to defend each other. Most potential members are even rivals. Azerbaijan/ Armenia ,India and Pakistan comes to mind. More like a military and economic organization.
