This keeps bothering me. A lot of times people pass subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Government etc and then fail English Language. With what language did they pass these subjects? If they use English Language to pass other subjects and can't use English language to pass English language then something is wrong somewhere. Could it be that when the examiner is marking, he does not mark the use of English but rather the technicality of English or could it be that English Language is simply over rated in our own Countryhuh

It seems you guys don't understand what I mean. I am not saying we should not use English language NO. I am !Simply saying English language should not be a determinant factor in our country such that peoole cannot express their individuality because you can't even get a good job or Marry the woman of your dreams if you can't speak or use this language very well. If you can't speak well people laugh at you and that doesn't determine how creative or skillful you are. This is a language that is artificial to us. I should judge you as a yoruba man if you cannot speak Yoruba very well or as an Igbo man if you cannot speak Igbo very well. I should not judge you for not speaking English language very well. The chinese or the French man doesn't have to put another's man language before their own.
