speedyGonzales:See ehn, there is no way the yoruba sways that it wont look like we are bad to igbo or hausa. When we voted GEJ we were alright, when we voted Buhari we are selfish. All we want i repeat is a good Nigeria, nothing else, we dont care if its an alien that does the Job. Bit since people dont want the unity anymore, God knows Odua Republic is happy. |

chrisbaba1:GEJ or Buhari... BTW none of this people are igbo! but GEJ even got there by mistake, Yar adua was the person, put there! but I actually though Yar adua would have been better than both GEJ or Buhari! |

chrisbaba1:I don't get it, I just think it's a figment of their imagination. They need to justify this movement somehow because if not it doesn't make a lot of sense. I'm in support of their movement though, if they went to leave.. odabo!! I just pray its achieved without bloodshed |

| Re: Let Biafrans Go....distress Sales Of Property Looming I Nigeria by Nobody: 1:29pm On Nov 08, 2015 |
speedyGonzales:wikipedia is not a reliable source cos it can be edited by anybody. The minorities pulled out of the former biafra. So, they no longer belong to the pipe dream. |

mrmetoo1:well, because oil wells and selling Chinese fakes don't produce the same income! how many Igbo billionaires can you name? bare in mind, that most of our billionaires made this money in petroleum well and then diversified... or even Niger Delta the people with the oil deposits? |
| Re: Let Biafrans Go....distress Sales Of Property Looming I Nigeria by speedyGonzales: 1:39pm On Nov 08, 2015 |
juicee1:well, numerous other sources for you, even the red cross files from that time! and if they pulled out then, it doesn't hurt to vote themselves out at a referendum, but you are speaking for everyone in that region right now! |
| Re: Let Biafrans Go....distress Sales Of Property Looming I Nigeria by mrmetoo1: 1:44pm On Nov 08, 2015 |
speedyGonzales:Point taken! Again keep in mind, I want what you want. I don't think anyone has held Igbos back from moving. The way it's being done is what I don't understand. What are the demands? What exactly do you want? What's the percentage of you guys that really want this? So far I haven't heard any prominent Igbo leader, governor, senator, celebrity come out in support. So please what exactly do you want and who wants it. None of my Igbo friends/colleagues have ever mentioned any intention of giving up everything here and moving east |

mrmetoo1:Dude, I am not Igbo... I don't believe that dividing Nigeria is the solution to our problems, I believe that this old military men OBJ and the rest are hold Nigeria backwards for their pockets! this country should have been a confederation as ojukwu argued initially before deciding to declare biafra! but as we are now if we hard a system of direct democracy like in Switzerland were every state has has much power as the other states irrespective of size and a FEC with a one rotating president it will suit us better and kicking out all the OBJ's and IBB's that have too much influence even after failing us! If Nigeria was to successfully solve it's problems without breaking apart, then I believe Nigeria could one day have an economy that rivals China and the USA! The confab report 2014, should have been the first step towards that but sadly the North with Buhari has striked again to take us backwards! |

| Re: Let Biafrans Go....distress Sales Of Property Looming I Nigeria by speedyGonzales: 2:49pm On Nov 08, 2015 |
clevadani:draw your own map and show it, since you dispute all existing maps... Here is the wiki page and you can see he has put credible sources to for the map. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Biafra_independent_state_map-en.svg clevadani:the propaganda is all over this forum and is also on Nigerian news and history, but you are Yoruba, so you would never let your see it! I will henceforth, not respond to you because, you obviously lack the intellect to structure an adequate arguement and also because I'm bored of you bullsh*t. have a good day! |

mrmetoo1:My sentiment too but unfortunately these guys are, by nature, eran iya (suckers for punidhment) hence they will go but only when they have exhausted every modicum of goodwill, they have left in the country. It's then that they will start bleating like inebriated goats about being loathed by everyone. It's their destiny!!! |

mrmetoo1:you're yoruba?? Nice!! I kinda like your attitude. I don't usually comment on stuff like this but i just decided to point out one thing to you. How many times have you ever applied for a visa to go to ghana or any other west african country?? Lemme guess, you've never done that. Have you stopped to ask yourself why?? Well, it's because these are all countries under the Economic Community Of West African States(ECOWAS) which allows free trade between countries in west africa. There are Nigerians who own businesses in the UK, America, infact, all around the world, but you don't see those governments seizing their property. It pains me when i see people raise the point of Biafrans seeking visas to enter Nigeria, or being deported, or their property being confiscated. But sadly, i cannot point this out to every ignorant buffoon on nairaland. As i said, i like your attitude so i pointed it out to you. Help me spread the word to your brothers and everyone who cares to listen. Have a nice day |
