MY SCREENING EXPERIENCE:
I got to UNILAG early at around 8am, the security officers showed me a list pasted at the entrance and told me to arrange my documents in that order;
1.) Screening form
2.) DE reg slip(for DE students)/ UTME result slip(for utme students)
3.) Previous degree certificate ( for DE students or jupeb result for foundation student)/ Unilag post utme result slip( for utme students)
4.) O'level result( They accept online copy if u don't have d certificate yet)
5.) Letter of reference
6.) Birth certificate/sworn declaration of age.
7.) Sec sch testimonial
8.) State of origin certificate
9.) Jamb admission letter(duplicate/institution copy).

Then they told me to arrange my documents in 4 sets. The first set was to contain original(coloured) copy of "1", "2", "3( for utme students)", "5", n "9" above n the rest should b photocopy and the 2nd, 3rd n 4th set are to contain photocopies throughout. Then they told me to staple d documents together with a passport on the left side. At abt 9:30am the screening commenced and I was the 1st to be screened....In less than 5mins the screening official checked my documents carefully, then she gave me a file to fill. But I had an issue " she wasn't with my course merit admission list", so she told me to hang around n when she gets d list shell inform me.

At abt 11:30am a course mate of my was screened successfully, so I knew she had already gotten the admission list, so I went to meet her.......so I filled d Info's on my file.....then she directed me to a screening official that sat close to her.....the 2nd screening official cross checked my docs and then signed on it.....since I was a foundation student and I had already done biometrics She said there was no need for biometrics ( but others who were not foundation students did biometric)..... She directed me to a man at the back( he's an admission officer from college of medicine)....He told me when I was to come for faculty registration which you'll get to know when u meet him( for DE students of college of medicine)....... At abt 12pm I was abt leaving the hall n a woman called me back(shes a parent forum whatever official.....she gave me a letter to give to my parents n also a form to fill....she also told me to pay N3000 at UBA Bank n I should bring the teller back with the form. And that's my screening experience..... And I also Thank God for making my screening successful.
And also get to the screening hall early but for the late comers make sure you're there b4 1:30pm-2:00pm because after that time no one would b allowed into the hall

And b4 I forget, make sure you're with the originals of 4, 6, 7, 8 above......because they may want to see them , buy they'll return them back to you

ok.. tis like this...the heading of the news said "screening procedures for supplementary and DE list"..so all the instructions there were for the supp guys..and the merit guys have their own instructions.. don't mix it up

hmmm.. I don't know if i can back u up on this one bro, but your arguement sounds REALLY convincing..

B4 I forget this too; we sat down according to our faculties .And also they collected 2 out of the 4 sets of documents n gave me 2. They told me to take them to my faculty/dept for registration

it didn't show...its not really important as long as u have ur previous degree certificate attached to d docs

Did you click on print receipt icon on your portal, if so then go to the bank that you paid to, it may be from them and if its not from them, they will direct you to the next place to lodge your complain which am sure shud be cits

Good evening... Please I would appreciate if you'll be able to reply me.

My sister is in a sort of dilemma, she gained admission through the supplementary list, she applied for Mass communication but was given Sociology (Social work).
Here is the problem, for Social Work in her O'levels she is required to have Maths, Eng and two Social Science courses, she had Economics but didn't have Government, but she had "Civic Education", me thinking Civic Education would be an acceptable Social Science course told her all is well. Well, she went for the screening today but was told she needed two Social science subjects and she couldn't get screened today.

However, she was told to drop her credentials and her number, that she would be contacted and that her course would be changed. My question now though:
1. Hope she hasn't lost her admission and would be given another course? (If the Screening officers were lying).
2. Has anyone gone through something similar or you know someone who has and was offered another course.
3. If she would be given admission, how long would it take?

No....the SIF form n bio data is for final enrollment.... you don't need any other document apart from the one's I mentioned
