dearie u sudnt av filled anytin. Just leave it till 2morow. Go very early 2 school so dat if u need 2 reprint d screening form u wud do dat on time.

Good evening... Please I would appreciate if you'll be able to reply me.

My sister is in a sort of dilemma, she gained admission through the supplementary list, she applied for Mass communication but was given Sociology (Social work).
Here is the problem, for Social Work in her O'levels she is required to have Maths, Eng and two Social Science courses, she had Economics but didn't have Government, but she had "Civic Education", me thinking Civic Education would be an acceptable Social Science course told her all is well. Well, she went for the screening today but was told she needed two Social science subjects and she couldn't get screened today.

However, she was told to drop her credentials and her number, that she would be contacted and that her course would be changed. My question now though:
1. Hope she hasn't lost her admission and would be given another course? (If the Screening officers were lying).
2. Has anyone gone through something similar or you know someone who has and was offered another course.
3. If she would be given admission, how long would it take?

RE: Social work is different from Sociology.
So, they are not the same course as implied by your post.

No need to panic.
I think she should follow any procedure they told her.

At last.. today is my screening... I hope I'll be back here at night to give my testimony

Y argue with me.....have done my screening and am telling u at least 1 of them must b coloured.....the person that said "it doesn't have to b coloured" was referring to d other 3 sets.

I'll assume d things that were missing are ur jamb no, utme score, etc.....you should have just left them.like that......the jamb no is at d top of d screening form......
n besides ur utme result slip is attached tod screening form.

compulsory? I don't think so.. Parents forum whatever isn't really necessary like that.. I mean,it is like an association,either u join or stay put.. Besides,how does it affect ur admission and all ur years in school It's up to everyone to choose.. If it was so important,then it would be required for all ur admission processes even on the unilag sites.. All these people are just looking for means to see money... After paying #3000,what's next?? Nothing!!!

@ddtoun i know of someone that had same issues but not this year it was last year he was given another course i will advice your sister to go to school to follow it up so they will not forget her

it all depends on d screening official......some officials accepted reference letter that wasn't stamped, just pray....
