seunmsg:Continue to use yesterday to ignore today. Na you no sabi things about history. If Youruba land had been independent from Nigeria, entire Yoruba land, not only Lagos, should have developed many times more than you have on ground now - oil or no oil. The FFKs of Yoruba land know this.. |

seunmsg:Islamic religion will not bring your type the fast track development Yoruba land needs. Some Yorubas blinded by Islam are following Alhaji Bola Tinubu who wants to ally with Sokoto Califate and conquer the rest of Nigeria and their resources. But that sort of conquest desire this time must meet with highest resistance from the rest of south of Nigeria excluding Yoruba. We saw MEND resistance last time nearly grind Nigeria to a halt. Now if Biafra people increase in their demands, they can grind Nigeria to a halt. That shall make Tinubu'a desire to ally with Fulani to conquer the whole Nigeria non-feasible. And the FFKs know that past alliances of the Yoruba with Fulani had ended up with the Yoruba edged out. Yoruba helped the north to fight Biafra back to one Nigeria. Alas, northern people reaped 99% of the war booty. |

soludo93:Massob leader was also arrested by past admins, the world didnt fall. I'm not doubting that the agitations were never there before 2015, but it has skyrocketted since PDP lost out at the centre. And knowing the kind of politics we play in Nigeria, you cannot tell me the drowning PDP is not leveraging on this to score cheap political points, 'all politicians do that.' Even a Yoruba FFK is throwing his weight behind an Igbo separatist protest, the same FFK that has always been anti-Igbo before he joined PDP, and now you claim you cannot see the political connection to this? |

bugzbunny:I'm from the SE and I don't want to go anywhere. I dont believe that is the solution to any of our problems but you guys have all allowed 'angry' emotions to becloud your judgement and with these emotions clouding your judgement, brainwashing becomes easy. There are lots of pre-requisites we need to satisfy IF we must venture into the idea of secession: - We need to get our leadership right at the local level (I believe this is the biggest and in fact our ONLY problem). I take a look at the kind of protests we're having at Aba today, imagine we had this kind of protests against charlatans like Orji Kalu and Theodore Orji, Aba would never have been the shit hole it is today. Meanwhile, youths in Edo are presently protesting against bad leadership from their governor, never have I heard of such in the SE. - There also has to be a well constituted conference with the SS groups to properly map out strategies on proposed leadership, revenue sharing etc. skipping this step dealt a heavy blow to Igbos in the 60's, yet some youths on steroids do not still think it is important in 2015. Instead these youths decided to bash TonyeBarcanista when he bravely decided to speak out the minds of most Niger-deltans. What ever happened to diplomacy instead of the senseless gra-gra? - We also need to be civil and courteous in our relationships with the rest of Nigeria because ONLY Igbos would lose if we break away through non-peaceful, non-cordial means knowing that we have more of our empire outside of Igbo land. Lots of other things need to be put in place before youths carelessly jump into the streets spewing insults upon insults on everyone and anyone. If certain pre-requisites are not met, South Sudan will be a child's play compared to what is coming to us. I even personally believe that if these pre-requisites are met, especially the issue of leadership, you would be shocked to find out there would no longer be a need for this clamour. We need to look inwards and see that the greatest problem is within and not outside. There is a reason OJUKWU decided to form the APGA party, it was to solve the problem of leadership. But today, you guys have decided to follow a psycho called Kanu on his road to perdition. I would have said goodluck, but saying goodluck to you might as well bring bad luck to me and my people; so I sincerely hope and pray you wake up from your delusion one day. |

obailala:Your facts aren't correct. FFK has link to Biafra struggle that predated his party switch. PDP may leverage on the chaos but the present height of the protest was remotely instigated by bad choices of Buhari |

soludo93:Let me complete your statement... "the present height of the protest was directly fuelled by anger over the defeat of GEJ by a northerner and then remotely instigated by bad choices of Buhari." But then, you couldn't have expected the government to keep quiet or totally ignore the massively growing menace which clearly escalated after the elections. It could have been ignored before now, but it was too loud after the election, and even louder after the government's actions. |

What's all this noise,Biafra and the Igbos? First of all I must commend what Mr FFK said about Biafra and the Biafran protests marches in various cities in Nigeria and the world over. Mr FFK said what he said because isn't schooled in the NigeriaNigerian way but the right and proper way that employs sound reasoning and logic. Now instead of trying to see reasons as why he said what he said the agitation for the sovereign state of BIAFRA and to proffer solutions. Most commenters have resorted to name and cheap black-mailing no wonder Nnamdi Kanu addresses us Nigerians as a bunch of Bamboons and Monkeys, who can't reason properly. On another note, this seeming impression that the Biafran struggle is an Igbo affair only is nothing but a fallacy and a media tool employed to cause division between the various ethnic groups that make up the region of Biafra that the Portuguese traded with, centuries before the British arrived in Badagri with their naval guns. |

BobUg28:You claim to be 'Onye Igbo'. So I assume that you know quite well that the supposed pogroms wont spare you whenever it starts. We're all nyamiri to the northern bloodsuckers. Whether you're in support of Biafra or not. We have the same destiny here in the Zoo. Better go and ask God for some sense |
