I think 'launch' would be better anyway hope they won't bring expensive phones that will make one pay in installments |

Aceed: Thanks for spotting that. The phones are priced at 29k for the Redmi 2 and 56k for the Mi 4 but there could be a big discount on launch date. |

TheRealSage:Which one should we now believe cos a week ago we heard stuff like Xiaomi is not going to pass through Jumia. I laugh! In a market controlled by Tecno and the likes. It's not easy gaining ground here. GIONEE has been struggling since they came here. My take though |
Re: Xiaomi have launched in Nigeria Via Online Store Jumia by TheRealSage: 12:13pm On Nov 11, 2015 |
Frontier2:They're definitely selling on Jumia. A special website will be created for it. http://mia.. You can quote me! |

I'm particularly interested in redmi note 2 ... Hopefully Jumia won't sell it more than 32k. |

This Xiaomi is one heck of a device I'll like to lay my hands on. They may be a serious threat to Tecno, infinix, Gionee, et al. But it all depends on how they play their game. |

ThisMeansWars:This is a snapdragon powered device with an IPS display. You can't get it at that rate. You should be talking about at least 45k upward. 1 Like |

This is a disappointment. It saddens me that Xiaomi chooses to come through Jumia, with their poor delivery services and thier tendency to over-hike the prices of their devices once they see that it is in high demand & that they are the only suppliers. Jumia can add over 5k to the prices of their Devices. I'd rather much stick to the Vendors we have here on Nairaland |
