Invariably if anyone in port harcourt would want to send documents to germany, we could split the Bill and i get my contact to forward it to the various schools. Anyone jus PM me |

I don't think that's a good idea. May sound helpful but it really isn't. Anything can happen with documents that side. You never know. Just let those who want to send their documents, send it themselves. All those I mistakenly didn't add this doc, that doc no go dey. cynosure489: |

jbadmus:Dunno much abt Mechatronics other than we are in same faculty and it is dominated by the indians. Abt 95% of the class. I could get other info from friends I have there if the need arises. Use the school website for first hand info in case any change. The school Pretty old school wit top noch professors. Has about 4 campus but Mechatronics dept is located in d main campus. Adolf-Reichwein. Has reasonable number of blacks of which 4 in every 5 are Cameroonians. Cost of living depends solely on the individual. You could get a good accommodation between 220 and 300 euros. In terms of monthly expenses roughly 60 - 100 euros per month. So in all 400 - 450 as a rough estimate (health insurance inclusive) should be ok for a month. Siegen is a busy and boring city but you could make it lively doh. ![]() Presence of industrial firms: yes Jobs: well I don't much abt this at the moment as I opted not to get one for now. Last I heard from a friend who searched for one, d school office in charge of jobs informed him, it would be hard to find a good 1 without knowing d language except menial jobs like washing plates..lol, kitchen jobs. No need to panic though, met a couple of pple who declined dat info as they are working already. You need to learn the language though cos pple here are stingy to speak English even if they know it. That's all...wish you all the best in ur admission process. |

OlaoChi:Well it's not Impossible, just that everything happened in such a way that one can doubt the scanned copy being rejected. Meanwhile, it's opened for anyone to try. Good luck. |

| Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by jbadmus: 9:21pm On Nov 11, 2015 |
Kelvinpam:Many thanks, bro, for all the information you reeled out. I will definitely learn German before making a move; not primarily because of getting a job immediately but for a better "integration" into the community, even as a student. I will be grateful if you could help gather a bit of information from that friend of yours in Mechatronics about some "unwritten" useful piece about the course which may be handy in hitting the ground running, though I have downloaded the course contents.Once again, thanks a bunch for taking out time to reply. |

| Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Kelvinpam(m): 11:15pm On Nov 11, 2015 |
ohakskid:bros don't tell me u are afraid cos I mentioned washing of plates ...don't worry It only happens in movies.Itz germany, there are jobs for students. U just have to find what suits you as time management is of great importance here. |
| Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Kelvinpam(m): 11:28pm On Nov 11, 2015 |
Theflint1:You can get up to B1 in 9 months but speaking it fluently, is down to the individual. So 6 months is possible if u ve "extremely" good language skills. My personal tip would be learning as many verbs as possible both in present, past and past perfect tense. Most times I Dont get the full sentence, I try to listen to the verbs been used and respond. Sentence construction is another skill one needs to learn too. It is not easy bro. I'm a learner like u any way. |
