Pathetic Igbos. ![]() They want to cancel 13% , I thought they want Biafra? ![]() Na wao ! I've not seen such a tribe that is emotionally battered like these people from the land of erosion and red soil. Igbo kwenu!! You'll beg us before you'll leave Nigeria. ![]() |

Obiagu1:Lol! Nnaa cool down, we need not team up with anyone to punish them, remember we can't punish them without equally punishing Igbo speaking groups like Oyigbo, Anioma and Egbema. They all benefit from the crude oil derivation thingy. Water will find their level on their own. If Biafra tarries and this current crude oil price continues or even deteriorate further, the allocation going to the North will be drastically reduced, and it will be only a matter of time before they seek for the reduction of the current 13% derivation to enable them get more allocation. When that time comes, we wouldn't fight anyone, we would just go with the flow of the majority, as we see that there is no gain standing with a minority, doing so will only reduce you to a minority status. Don't fight it, let it flow. |

pazienza:Ever Nigerian knows Ibo are butt hurt and ordinary, stop laughing as though you're funny because it just shows your are a big fat idiot. Odi was a treasonable attack on Nigeria's forces, and for whatever reasons killing cops cannot be overlooked, whether it is Odi, Kano or buhahafra. Even fair minded ND who heard the story of how militants killed federal forces and the community was asked to give up the killers and refused will not put bigger blames on the Nigerian government - it had a right to prevent such crimes and the response has to be equal to or greater than the crime to serve as a deterrent. In future, they will think twice and thrice before such crimes. Before you laugh at Odi, remember Biafra? Asaba raw deal? A stoopid Ibo attacked a Nigerian commander, and 700 Ibos were lined up against the wall and shot! If they repeat the same stoopidity in 2015, another 7000 Ibos will be lined up and shot, that is the kind of response required for such acts of treason. Osama killed 3,000 Americans and the U.S. went to Afghanistan / Pakistan and killed more than 100,000! So stop being too stoopid by thinking your snide comments made any sense! |

rhymaster:Just wait until we start the politicking and you'll see the difference between what it means to be a majority and a minority. We can as well support the north in its long term quest to reduce the 13 percent derivation you're enjoying now to zero. Buhari would joyfully concede to our request and that of the SW to share the oil earnings equally to all the federation, while we use our numbers in the senate to add up to the north to pass it into law. Trust Buhari to level like Odi any community that would come out and form agidi. The Yoruba would use their press to cover it up, while we look the other way round. Wouldn't this be a good idea? Now, tell me who is shitting on his pant. |

Chiwude:Haha you think Nigerians are stoopid like Ibos? While it might take some time for the 13% to be increased, no one will remove it. The West will never support such injustice the Ibos are known for. In fact it is far better that Nigeria ups the derivation of the SS and strengthen them more because they are more dependable citizens than the useless seccessionst biafraudians! No one will ever take Ibos serious! I can bet that another ND will be VP or president before any Ibo. Now that will hurt Ibos even mooooooorrreee!!! If they are not happy, let them go to Biafra. |

rhymaster:And how many Hausas and fulani soldiers were killed by Biafrans? ![]() How many Northerners are being "suyanized" by Boko on daily basis even as we speak? ![]() Are northerners no longer the dreads of the Nigerian society, highest poverty rate, highest child mortality rate, highest level of illiteracy, extreme hunger and poverty everywhere in the North? Is the North not turning to dessert? Have you not heard that the Sahara desert is fast expanding towards the North ![]() What is power if it doesn't help you lift your people from hunger and poverty? Except ofcourse if the power wasn't yours, you are mere pupettes in the hands of the British and the west. Have you forgotten what happened to your silly leader Mutala Muhammad when he thought he had any power? He was reminded of his stooge status by the Western powers that made him. How many useless Northerners are being lined up and shot by Boko as we speak? |

akthedream:No, I am not insulting them. Those are facts, they are stuck with us forever, from Oyigbo to the nearest Ijaw town is a trekable distance. Crude oil is the only bargaining power they currently have and it's also a fact that at current rate of exploitation, the Nigerian crude oil reserve has 42 years to finish. The Atlantic is also moving up, even as we speak, as the polar ice melts. Those are cards the Ijaws have to play with. |

Truckpusher:Ndiigbo are not scared of any Nigerian group, even during the war, with less weapons, we killed more Arewa-Oduanistani soldiers. We didn't crawl out of the ruins of the Nigeria civil war to once again sit at the enviable top of Nigeria development index by being afraid. ![]() Just by the virtue of our numbers, we will always remain relevant in the Nigerian political equation. Even with no support for Buhari, we still returned home with almost full basket in Buhari's cabinet. |

I keep saying that Barcanista in Nairaland is a threat to Ijaw survival in Nigeria. His other Ijaw sidekicks here aren't faring better. I feel pained because God could have created me Ijaw, and I will be represented by such dimwit who constantly annoys my bigger neighbor that can make life hell for me in the Nigerian jungle where population is everything. Jonathan's experience proves this point handsomely. Let me ask this question: Of what use is Ijawland to the North or West after oil wells dries up, which is mere 45 years ahead? The only thing that can give Ijaw a real chance to survive and even thrive in the future is Biafra. I don't know why other Ijaws are letting such people speak for them here -maybe it is their culture not to berate a bad rep. If an Igbo person came to Nairaland to talk nonsense that could endanger Igbo, other Igbos would have pounced on him and devoured him. Such is what I love most about Igbo people. |

carnegiefan:Shattap your mouth. Another imposter on the rampage. What does the Ijaw man and the other ethnic groups of the Niger Delta need the Igbos for? Yeye dey smell FYI : Barca is not speaking for anyone neither is anyone of us here speaking for any group including the IPOB touts you see here - We are only telling you the general mindset of the various ethnic groups that makes up the Niger Delta and nothing more and nothing less. And may I also remind you that we are looking forward to a future without oil and my sincere sympathies goes out to all the big for nothing tribes that line up in Abuja cap in hand waiting for monthly stipend from Niger Delta proceed to survive. ''You can never learn how to use your left hand in old age'' This adage is for you parasites that couldn't build an economically viable country despite the huge allocation accrued from the Niger Delta oil and gas resources for years, when the oil finishes it is you and your kith that are used to freeloading that will feel the bite first before the Niger Delta people that has counted it all but lost. |

If you are an Ijaw man, hoping to grab Igbo speaking territories by hiding behind SS or Niger delta tag. Well, this Igbo man in Oyigbo is saying Hi ![]()
