Lol! Nnaa cool down, we need not team up with anyone to punish them, remember we can't punish them without equally punishing Igbo speaking groups like Oyigbo, Anioma and Egbema. They all benefit from the crude oil derivation thingy.

Water will find their level on their own. If Biafra tarries and this current crude oil price continues or even deteriorate further, the allocation going to the North will be drastically reduced, and it will be only a matter of time before they seek for the reduction of the current 13% derivation to enable them get more allocation.

When that time comes, we wouldn't fight anyone, we would just go with the flow of the majority, as we see that there is no gain standing with a minority, doing so will only reduce you to a minority status.

Don't fight it, let it flow.
u guys are extremely stup1d and ignorant, Igbos in SE are gone, from the numbers that turned up in that pob protest anybody can easily detect how ignorant people are in the east.

Please, there is NOTHING like SS or Niger Delta.

Have you heard of NN or NW or WW people? Rather you have Odua people, Arewa people or Igbo people. Let Ijaws, Edos, Itsekiris, Ibibios etc create their threads and stop lumping everybody together for your selfish reason. What relationship does the Etsako man has with the Ijaw or Etche to be lumped together. Or does a Bini man know anything about the Calabaris, or Ika man be joined to an Ibibio in the name of SS?
That's why I always laugh at their stup1dity. They said Igbos are land grabbers whilst they are the real land grabbers.

I keep saying that Barcanista in Nairaland is a threat to Ijaw survival in Nigeria.
His other Ijaw sidekicks here aren't faring better.
I feel pained because God could have created me Ijaw, and I will be represented by such dimwit who constantly annoys my bigger neighbor that can make life hell for me in the Nigerian jungle where population is everything.
Jonathan's experience proves this point handsomely.

Let me ask this question: Of what use is Ijawland to the North or West after oil wells dries up, which is mere 45 years ahead?

The only thing that can give Ijaw a real chance to survive and even thrive in the future is Biafra.
I don't know why other Ijaws are letting such people speak for them here -maybe it is their culture not to berate a bad rep.
If an Igbo person came to Nairaland to talk nonsense that could endanger Igbo, other Igbos would have pounced on him and devoured him. cool
Such is what I love most about Igbo people.

@First bold... It is not the fault of any Ijawman that God made you an Igboman. Face front!

If not for sheer envy and bitterness then what on earth will make some never-do-wells to invade our beautiful thread? Let me sound this clear, no amount of foolishness will make anybody cow to any slowpoke. As for those talking about joining the north and the SW to marginalise the SS, I laugh at your foolishness. You guys are emotional and irrational, otherwise, you'd have known that you have NO bargaining chip in Nigeria.

No amount of intimidation and insults will stop the unity of the people of SS or Niger Delta. We will never be part of your Biafra project. It's either resource control or Niger Delta Republic. Biafra is only a means for your tribe to grab our lands. Try it and see what happens.

Confusion of south south and niger delta

I've watched with utter dismay as Africans loose their identities which God almighty bestowed on them....thanks to some foreign terms cum
new identity. For example, I've observed how a country like Sudan which was an ancient African country/kingdom, have now being "Arabised" via islamic religion. Even some of our so called "fellow nigerians" in the north have lost their true African identity, that today when you hear a northern nigerian name, you will think the person is from Saudi arabia....well, that's another topic, for the main focus here will be the term 'south south' or is it 'niger delta' or 'delta niger south'.....talk of confusion.

Lets define these terms that make up these un-African identities: some miscreants have been hiding under these deceitful terms only to deceive the gullible.

SOUTH SOUTH: The 1st word in these obscure term is "south" and this word is an English word, hence un-African. Now the 2nd word in also south, which is also English. Now, how can you be something that is not original to you. What was your name before the white man came?

When you debunk this "south south" identity of these shameless criminals, who are ashamed of their true identity, they come up with another one called 'niger delta'. Again lets examine this term again:

NIGER DELTA (pronounced "naija delta"wink: The 1st word in this term in not original to Africa, hence another concocted name assumed by the confused. Here is what NIGER means, according to google: The word originated as a neutral term referring to people with black skin, as a variation of the Spanish and Portuguese noun negro, a descendant of the Latin adjective niger ("black"wink.
The 2nd word "delta" is also not African as it's a greek word.

Let me remind the "we the SS people" or the other branch called "we the niger delta" that you can't assumed what is not originally yours. The words "south, niger, and delta" are not your terms, they are foreign. Y'all need to go find out who you are before the white man came to the geographical space you occupy.

Finally, since most of you don't have your original identity, I recommend the following terms to be used within the years below:

Delta south south- to be used from 2016 to 2018
South delta niger- to be used from 2019 to mid-2020
Delta niger- to be used from late 2020 to late 2022
South delta south- to be used from mid 2023 to 2028

Well, you guus can organise a march in Rivers state to test your strength and popularity of the Niger Delta republic.

My advice is that you guys should avoid Obigbo, Igweocha, Opobo e.t.c in such a march as they are core Biafrans and will lynch any ingrate that tries to sow any seed of discord between them and their brothers in the SE.

Rivers people spoke with their feet about 3 weeks ago and about 20 of them were arrested. Asari has also spoken.

Also avoid Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Anioma areas of Delta state

Thing is, sometimes you wonder why the hatred towards Igbos by some SS people. Like you observed in the last confab, it was SE that supported 100% resource control against vociferous northerners and most southwesteners who kicked against it. We supported GEJ sincerely and wholeheartedly.

Today, Igbos are villifiedd for backing GEJ overwhelmingly, we gladly took(still taking) all the 'bullets' for these ingrates, yet they insult us and you ask yourself where did Igbos wrong these people?. Really pathetic to say the least

My brother, dont mind those ingrates. its good all of us keep our eyes wide open. Most Important thing is unity of Igbo from Anioma to Imo, Abia to Enugu, Anambra to Ebonyi and upto rivers, everywhere Igboland is.

The days of using dubious state creation to alienate Igbos from each other is gone. If they like let them carve Igbo state and put it in the north east, it will still be igboland and we must still identify with our siblings.

You are Igbo from rivers, i am Igbo from delta...Igbo is Igbo even if the treacherous evil people carve you outside SE and call it moon East zone or region.

It is very clear that some people seek for enemies by themselves. Unlike the Yorubas, we won't stoop low into exchanging words with anybody or group. But what we seek to achieve shall be achieved whether any person born of a woman likes it or not. Our land, our heritage, our people and our choice!

Haha you think Nigerians are stoopid like Ibos? While it might take some time for the 13% to be increased, no one will remove it. The West will never support such injustice the Ibos are known for. In fact it is far better that Nigeria ups the derivation of the SS and strengthen them more because they are more dependable citizens than the useless seccessionst biafraudians! No one will ever take Ibos serious! I can bet that another ND will be VP or president before any Ibo. Now that will hurt Ibos even mooooooorrreee!!! If they are not happy, let them go to Biafra.

Look at this ignorant minority mofo talking about bargaining chip. Bargaining chip? The only bargaining chip we need is to support the hausas and fulanis to savage Niger Delta. We are the only reason why the north has not turned Niger Delta into modern day slavery. We are the reason why you are still receiving your 13% derivation when we could have supported the north and forced every state in Nigeria to receive the same exact amount of Federal allocation from your so called oil. Yes the north only needs our support to make yobe state collect exactly the same allocations as Rivers State and you won't do anything about it because you are minority. We are the only reason why you can stand here today to support Jonathan and his administration when we could have supported the north to end his 6 year administration abruptly. Anyway, most of you minorities are just foolish and mentally lazy? Is it not the same minority of Edwin Clark? Rubbish
