Gallant troops of the Nigerian Military are moving closer to the main camp of the Boko Haram sect in Sambisa Forest.

Although they are encountering resistance from insurgents manning a number of small posts, the soldiers are unrelenting, as they are taking out the fringes and other noticeable obstacles.

On Saturday, DAILY POST reported that one of such mini camps in Sambisa was demolished.

Hours later, our correspondent was informed that the troops carried out a similar raid on another guard post, killing insurgents, who took to their heels on sighting the battalion.

Images obtained by DAILY POST show an abode apparently occupied by the terrorists.

A transmitter, a cylinder, wires, kegs, arms and ammunitions, dane guns, knives, cutlasses, mattresses, pillows, among others could be seen.

Interestingly, the troops hit the camp as the terrorists were preparing a meal.

A fresh chicken going through roasting process and what looked like cooked rice on large trays are also visible in the images.

Troops, have in the past few weeks, mercilessly dealt with the Boko Haram terrorists as they strive spiritedly to meet the December deadline set by President Muhammadu Buhari on total defeat of the sect.

We must continue to encourage and praise our gallant soldiers, who, first, are putting their lives at risk to ensure maximum security in the country. However, I am afraid that the target date of December to eradicate these wicked terrorist group may not be achieved.

It has been reported that the annual budget for Boko Haram to perpetrate their wicked act is $10 million dollars per year. How do they lay their hands on these huge funds? Even if Boko Haram is eradicated, we may witness some offshoots of radical sects. Shekau has already predicted this in the past. The ideology, which I like to call Strategy, is the problem. To me, this is now a business which profits the wicked.

Are the wicked ones the weapon manufacturing companies, who intend to increase their wealth? Are the wicked ones the anonymous fund providers who profits from chaos?

Intelligent agencies must identify the wicked ones who profits from these acts. These are the people who should suffer for the thousands who have died.
