There are many people who don't shake hands for religious or hygienic reasons. This is about BODY CONTACT after all so you cannot fault them. It is not about feeling superior. A real PR expert should know better than to make infantile assumptions. Won't be surprised if this woman is a feminist... criticizing men for the slightest reason.

As a muslim,he is not suppose to shake the hands of a married muslim female....please let us respect peoples religion and custom......why do ladies always complain about any slight issue?.....does shaking of hands put food on the table?...does it reduce fuel?...does it bring change?....this re the issues we should be discussing!!!

Many people just raise issues for the purpose of talking and not because they have reviewed the situation and come out with facts and figures.

PMB shakes hands with women but when it is obvious that this person is unwilling or practises a religion that may not support such, he respects the person.

This is the first time that he did not shake hands, does it now mean he has never shaken hands with any woman before?

Why we are having the problem of ethnicity and tribalism is because we don't respect the ideals, culture and traditions of others. If a Hausa Muslim will not shake hands, why do I want to shake her hands?

Respect others please .

In my opinion I think if a female extends a hand for a handshake to him he will respond. I also think he is mindful of the take of the female concerning a handshake and so I'm sure he is watching to see if appropriate for the other party or not. No one wants his hand hanging after being extended for a handshake. His religious inclination also has a role to play but the fact that he has shaken hands with other females who have extended for same shows he is open to that cos of the office he occupies. This more or less a lot of puff for nothing really if you ask me.
