From the chat you can clearly see that he wasn't surprise when you told him you came out with 2.2. Which I believe you are very proud of, maybe because that's what you are really capable of.

But this guy from all indication knows his worth (academic wise).Hence, having every reason to be mad at himself.

Free landlord, convocation won't help in upgrading him to 2.1.

I knw of a family friend that graduated with 2.1 law unilorin went ahead for her masters in the u.k came out with 2.1.since 2008 no employment, searched all the nooks and cranies of naija notin for her.8yrs unemplyed u can imagine how frustratin it can be.She was able to secure a good job with a fed govt parastatal this year 2015...In Nigeria today it is not by class of Degree oh.It is the grace of God! The race is not for powerful or the intelligent neither the swiftest but time and chance happeneth to them all.Bros dont be discouraged!

Okay you win. I told you not to make the topic of discussion about.

You are very proud of your 2.2 hence why you are happily going for the convocation.

But your friend who believe he is more than that, deemed it fit not to attend. Because simply to him it is of no use celebrating a 2.2 against a 2.1. Hence, won't derive no joy at the convocation.

You did well for yourself, but learn to respect your friend decision.
