i have a male (Presa Canario[spanish mastiff]) dog n a female ( a boerboel x ridgeback mix) [RIDGE head n boerboel body]
This was due to the dishonesty of the breeder in question. But not withstanding, being a petlander addict with little contributions, I have come to loving the dog even more despite some peoples advice condemning dogs hereby making people abandon dogs in the wild, and neglecting them because they aren't full breeds(major shout out to vicdamm n barcaboi saving those angels)

I travelled for sometime and on getting home my lil siblings said the dogs tied while I was away. NOW, thud brings me to the topic of this thread.

my female dog is d very energetic type of dog... very playful always jumping and 'stretching' on her dog cage, she jumps on humans and gets full body stretch. I kept on hearing dogs stretching leads to "pregnancy loss" and I have even seen vets tying dogs in a bid to ensure pregnancy stay in dogs, i sometimes ago saw it on naitaland here of a dog being tied to prevent the pregnancy loss.

I on purpose didnt tie my dog with the hope i am not ready for her puppies yet although she would be 2 years by february. But from my siblings calculations from the time the dogs tied then she should be in her 7th week.
And her body changes are very visible meaning she must be pregnant. Worthy of note is her energetic displays even while pregnant.

MY QUESTION IS THIS?
Is there any proof by our vets that Stretching and jumping in dogs cause pregnancy loss ?
Is this just a myth shared by dog breeders and vets?

To me its just pure animal cruelty as I now view it. Because from my own point of view and after checking google i believe tying Dogs on the legs is cruelty to the dogs. If they would produce, stretching and jumping wont cause them to lose pregnancy, STD will.

Will attach a pics of my heavily pregnant dog stretching when I get home and will keep you guys posted on how it goes till when she labours...

pls petlanders share your thoughts on this and if you believe its cruel stop and educate people who tie dogs during pregnancy.
