Some midnights, I keep hearing noises at the kitchen section of the house, I got up one night, went downstair to the kitchen only to see my brother rummaging through the kitchen cabinets for anything edible, some times I see him frying yam, soaking garri or dragging to pull out frozen soup from the chest freezer and this guy is the last person to wash his dish after eating talk more of ever entering kitchen for any reason whatsoever.
I have tried to understand why he does that even after taking his normal supper but he always waves it that is it bad to fuel the stomach. Ok I started observing him from one day he came back from the office, and around 11:46 I saw him smoking at the sit out while everyone was sleeping. About an hour later, he went down to the kitchen so I followed him immediately but didn't really have anything to say to him except to help him boil a cup of rice while we gisted.
Weeks later, I decided to fraustrate him, that day I made sure that I dished out all the food in the house and nothing extra was left. I hid our garri and other things he may find to eat, so my bros later smoked around 11.57pm, He went inside the kitchen no food, He came and knocked at my door. I opened and he was begging if there is anything edible with me, Then I knew my plan has worked so I brought out the two gala sausage rolls I bought for this, he begged me so much and was almost kneeling down but I vehemently refused on the ground that he buys it from me. He was soo ready to buy it but I started with 1500 each and he ended up at 500 each, I refused and he walked out of my room saying that even if na pizza, ok oo let him go naa.
Approximately 32 minutes later, he came back and started begging for 700 each, I stood my ground later at 1k last take it or leave it. He said ok that he will pay me in the morning, but I refused, So he went and brought his wallet and gave me 2k before I released the gala, he kept cursing me under his breath while leaving my room but who cares??
I tried it the following day but he did not come, I decided to go check him in his room only to see him eating a plate of rice with coke and seeing a movie. This guy took an additional plate of food and hid in his room during supper without me noticing it. I confronted him and he laughed hard at me and said "YAHOO" YOU ARE A LEARNER" I angrily left and went back to my room sulking on defeat. If only there are ways to stop a grown adult from these bad and horrible habits, it would be ok but they are past beating or forcing to stop it.
