Good day landers,

Am just concerned about the 5000 token by the government and hope it gets to realization and free from

politicking that our politicians are know for...

It all started from the party manifesto of the president months before the general election and it really raised

a brow in my locality cos we doubted the reality of it and the fruition of the project cos to me its a project

like all other promises made during elections preparation by our so called leaders..

Fast forward to after the election and fortunately for us the present president of my dear country is from

the party that made the promise and they youths are ready to hold them accountable to the promise made.

My problem now is since majority of people that voted were youths and we form a larger percentage to our

countries population.
Need answers to this question:

1). how do we know those youths that are eligible for the token and how long does a person

receive it..

2). Will it be only for the unemployed or will underemployed too benefit from it

3). What age do I have to be to be eligible

4). Will it be a continuous process even after the first tenure

5). Will the benefit also cover the less privilege in homes.

6). Hope it won't be politicized

7). Now that our eastern brothers are clamouring for their own state will they be beneficiaries from the east also

Please i need responses to these question from all cos

first let me put it here that it is possible only if they want to do it and it can even bring about the desired unity that our country needs now... except if it is done in a corrupt manner by paying ghost unemployed ppl like the ghost workers.. good system needs to be in place to curb fraud cos its prone to fraud.

And it will even serve as a means of employment for few hundreds of ppl too..

hope it goes round bros.. but what of those that will lose their jobs a month after the beneficiaries start receiving alert.. will they also be a part of it... how will they authenticate the employment status of beneficiaries just thinking, cos I really hope and pray it works ...

that money can be used in eradicating poverty from Nigeria rather than wasting on jobless youths for their BIS subscription.

okkkkk, for me the 5k pay is a scam and as good as a dead project even if it should be implemented. Because Nigeria dont have concise database of anything not to talk of database of unemployed, everything is estimations even nepa bill estimation, oil barrel produced everyday is estimation, retirees estimation, etc
so, who are the unemployed, which month will the payment start in 2016, jan or dec,. this country has no direction and hence the reason why almost everything is failing. Only what nigeria knw is Oil without even knowing the exact amount produced daily, because whatever the oil companies say we produce that is what we agree we produced, silly country

you Neva know someone might be reading and it will get to the right ears but my fear is the opposition will say ruling party promised and fail and some of us who are gullible will not see it the way you are.

my fear exactly, how do we know the exact number of unemployed? are we looking at only graduates, drop-outs, or illiterates cos these three groups of ppl are different and if the bill is passed everyone deserves it and 25million estimated unemployed Dont think th figure is right...

If they can't produce enough jobs, then they gotta put food on the table for unemployed people

For me so long as you are a Nigerian youth, you are eligible especially people from the Niger Delta. Because na dia oyel moni Buhari wan use not ground nut or cocoa or palm kernel.

If you like stay idly at home waiting for government to hand you cash at the end of every month. You are asking if people from the SE will also benefit. I don't think you are in your right senses to begin to contemplate that a section of the country should be left out. I pray I will never find myself in a situation that I will have to depend on social security to live. I will definitely reject it if I'm offered it.

I asked if the Biafra state was granted will they also benefit from it? because they were part of Nigeria wen the election was held..
