Nigerians are pretty confused right now, they do not know who to blame for the long queues, is it President Muhammadu Buhari or the senate?

Two weeks ago the federal government approved payment of 413 billion naira ($2 billion) in subsidies, some dating from 2014, but funds have yet to be transferred because they are yet to approved by the senate.

According to Reuters, importers have not been paid their subsidy since Buhari succeeded Goodluck Jonathan and the delay has worsened the financial crunch for importers.

At a fuel station on LASU-Ojo road Nigerians are forced to keep vigil and motorists barely have a chance of buying fuel.

Our correspondent was restrained from taking photographs but here are some pictures.

Now is the time for the President to prove to us that he is a capable Minister in this sector. All these need to stop! Kachukwu too shouldn't go to sleep after his confirmation. He should know that he's the Prime Minister here.

Fuel scarcity tells more on the poor. This alone should be their motivating factor to want to stop this as early as quickly!

why won't you blame the president? When you won't read/think before commenting...cos you are looking for every opportunity to bash him. Hmmm

The only solution for this impasse in petroleum products supply is total removal of subsidy..... btw aren't our refineries working yet becaues they would be able to cushion the effects of demand.

The Senate under the Leadership of Saraki just wanna try everything possible to sabotage this Buhari's administration. Why haven't they approve the fund? Anyway, I'm waiting for the blabbing blabbers to invade this thread and start calling Buhari names for the prolonged delay of this fuel scarcity.

the vigil hasn't started yet.

with a population of over 160 million Nigeria should have the highest number of gullible and irrational thinking citizens in Africa if not the world.

saying that Buhari is a terrorist is an insult to the genuine intelligent terrorists out there because Buhari is a Hopeless illiterate terrorist with no moral value but the only thing in his dull brain is eat, sleep, terrorize, repeat.
